We did have a nice day yesterday and today even though we had to go to the funeral home. The grandkids were here and we had a good visit. Then we saw the whole family at the funeral home.

I called IT today and they went through my computer and said I have Trojan on my IP and have had it since I got my first computer here at this address. I don't know what to believe because I didn't have trouble until January. They said it came from Taiwan and I would have to have a new IP. I'm not sure I even know what that is or who to call or what to do. That is what is corrupting everything. I'll worry about it tomorrow.

I knew our visit to the Veterans was too good to be true. They helped us fill out a form to send to Missouri for our DD214. In six weeks we got a letter saying they could not help, didn't have enough information so they sent it to Langley, VA. Saturday we got a letter from PA saying fill out this form and send it in with your DD214. If you don't have one, you can get it from MO. Oh dear. I can see where this is going. I don't think I have the energy to deal with one more thing right now. Hubby is slowly getting worse. I didn't think I would be able to get him ready today. He didn't want to change out of his sweats and put on nice clothes. Finally he did but shirt was on backwards and shoes on wrong feet. Sometimes he gets mad if I make him change things. He wants to know what difference it makes. I try to let him do things for himself if possible. It makes him feel bad if I have to help. Sometimes he will laugh with me and he'll come in when he's dressed and look at me and say "this is wrong, isn't it" and we laugh. If we are home I don't care. I do try to pick my battles that really matter. He did enjoy the grandkids here and kept saying how much fun that was. It's been hard to get him out because he is so sensitive to hot and cold and he is freezing right now.   They are predicting 17 below for Monday and Tuesday. This is so depressing.

I'm glad you're still here after all that. This first card is the last make and take from Archiver's we did. They will be closed at the end of this week. Hardly anything is left in the store. I did have a chance to say goodbye to my favorite gals. We cried and I hate it for them since they are losing their jobs.  The second card is one I made for my oldest granddaughter. Be kind to one another.

Oh wow, you have a Trojan virus that you picked up in January?? Now you have me confused with IP and IT. Is IT your carrier? I really feel for you, so many problems and then to deal with the frustrations that your husband is dealing with. Your cards are reallly sweet. And no....I am not happy that Archivers is closing here either. I did manage to get some more stuff at 75% off. I just might got back this next week to see whats left.

Well, you take care and I sure do hope all your problems work out, keep looking up and take one problems at a time. (:)

Brenda, I am so glad you got a chance to post some cards, they are delightful and I know you will miss the Archivers...that is too bad they had to close. I have been to ONE when I was in Cincinnati, but there are NO Archivers in the Pacific Northwest. And I really do feel your pain with computers...I don't know what I would do without my daughter to fix things and explain things to me, she will write down the order for me to do things and it is so helpful. Hang in there, you are doing great. And I will send up prayers for you, your family and your husband in dealing with his debilitating issues. I am so sorry you are having to go through that. But I must say I admire your positive attitude!

Hi Brenda, You really are having a lot to deal with. The VA can certainly give you the run-around. They couldn't find any evidence that DH served in Viet Nam. (he did 2 tours- has the medal pin thing-y..well, guess you could maybe buy that somewhere). He was looking for some other files, and found this form that showed where his different duty stations were...lo & behold. 2 of them were in the Repubic of Viet Nam. It took a while, but we finally got that one handled. He has Agent Orange exposure, and some things are starting to show up. It's very difficult to get any help or resolution with these problems, or acknowledgment that the issues are A. Orange related. He has 2 buddies he served with, and they are having similar difficulties. Hope you can get this resolved so as to get some help with your DH. My prayers will be with you. To have to deal with this kind of thing along with the very aggravating PC issues...you are still keeping your sense of humor. Somebody can clean off the Trojan. I think that is probably a computer issue, not a provider issue. At least with the little bit I know!!! Make sure you have virus software, that it is kept updated from the publisher's website, and run frequent scans. Hope this helps! Hugs - oh nearly forgot to say how lovely each of the cards was. I especially liked the Dutch design on #2 card's heart. TFS
