I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Did anyone shop on Black Friday? I can't bring myself to want anything bad enough to look for a parking space, fight the crowds and stand in lines for a long time. I used to do it but I find I have less patience and I'm less tolerant in my old age! I had a brunch for our family on Friday. I share the Thanksgiving holiday with my daughter in laws family and this year was their year to have it on Thursday. Our other son goes to his wife's family on Thursday evening. So instead I decided to have a brunch and they could stay as long as they wanted. We had a wonderful time. Ate and ate and visited and played games. Taboo is a fun game that we all could play and five second rule, along with another word game. Granddaughters spent the night and we met up with one of daughter in laws and all went to a craft fair. There were not as many vendors as last year so I was kind of disappointed but we had lunch after and it was fun.  I did do some shopping on line and some today online.  This is the card I was working on for Christmas but it is slow going because of all the cutting and a lot of popping up. I think I will do something else. Today is catch up on laundry and pay bills. Maybe this afternoon I can play.   I would like to welcome Sharon Polesel as a follower http://mycraftyplace281.blogspot.com/. Maybe you could stop by and visit her blog and say hi. Be kind to each other.

Pretty card, looks like a Tim Holtz stamp. Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving too.

You have some fab dimension going on with this pretty card. I'm with the above commenter..looked like one of TH's new stamps to me as well. So happy you had a lovely family holiday, and then got to enjoy some more fun family time later. Your craft fair sounds like fun too. We're seeing the same things with the craft shows in SC as well, also our Sept. Stamp show was the same way. Guess so many of us shop on line, it doesn't make it worthwhile to vendors(????). Also when I go to 'craft shows', it doesn't seem to me that I'm seeing as many of what I think of as 'hand crafted'. We went to a craft show in Fla, and lots of jewelry, but it didn't really look 'handmade' to me. Happy Tuesday, and tfs such a pretty card. Hugs

This card might be a lot of work, Brenda, but wow, oh, wow, is it ever worth all of it!! It is fabulous in every way! I am so with you on lack of patience anymore for shopping crowds ~ it's just not worth it. I didn't even do cyber Monday this year, still trying to recover from Thanksgiving. And I also realized last year that sometimes there are even better sales as it gets closer and closer to Christmas, and, of course, after Christmas! Luckily our family is very small so I don't have a very long gift list. Hope you have a great week! Hugs, Darnell

What a sweet card! I love that "blueprint" look. Meeting up with family however you can and playing games and having fun is my idea of a great time for Thanksgiving! Sounds like you enjoyed yours, too :)
