Hope everyone is warm and putting the finishing touches on Christmas gifts, cards, wrapping and baking. That would not be me yet. Almost done shopping, cards are done and ready to mail. No decorating, baking or wrapping. Just having my cinammon spice coffe and visiting you all this morning. We are expecting 3-5 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow.  You don't have to read this next paragraph. It is a rant and I need to get it off my chest.

I am going to tell you what I want for Christmas this year and every one from now on. I want to never have to talk to my cable provider again. We have talked five times in the last five days and one call that I couldn't bring myself to answer. Each time was a different person, each one told me something different, the rate was different, the way to hook up cables was different and even the time the technican would be here. They told me Monday, the 17th! So I don't know when he will come, what he will do and how much it will cost. Also what my phone number will be. It is not suppose to change but I have had two people tell me two different numbers. Did I mention instead of the cable they were suppose to send me I received an empty box to send my equipment back in? This is becoming a nightmare to change service providers. This is a well known nation wide company. How can this be? Don't they train these customer service people. I was hoping not to have a stroke before I get my service hooked up.

Todays card is one I made for my grandson. He is crazy about gingerbread men. Just a simple card made with a punch and a Jolee's santa hat. Be kind to one another and don't change your providers.

Hi Brenda, I had to laugh at your rant (sorry, I know it wasn't meant to be funny!). We all must deal with the same cable company. For the last couple of months, we have been stable, but I know exactly what you meant. This month (and last month too, we have had door problems with the new installation stuff we were doing. Waiting now on our 3rd door, and it got shipped to the company here locally, they evidently sent it to another store! GRRRR!). Your card is adorable. Loved the gingerbread focal point with the cute matching papers. I'm doing the same as you - trying to catch up visits today. I just got the last of the cards posted - Hubby took some to the Post Office, I had left off 2 zip codes. Most had to have extra postage. Need to do better with that next year. So today is going to be devoted to laundry, visiting, and hopefully clean up some of the Christmas card mess. We have done no shopping, but guess our gifts to the DD & SIL will be green. Might go out shopping later & let her get what she wants. Too hard to fit clothes (which she doesn't need), they don't need dust catchers, so what to select. DH is the same. So our best gift will be for all of us to spend some quality time. Merry Christmas to you & your family. So happy I found your blog. Stay warm, cozy & safe if you have to go outside. Hugs & TFS. Good luck with your provider.

Oh.....'Keep Kalm and Make Kute Kards" that would be our moto during the December :) I know how you feel about the cable company, it would drive me crazy too. We have AT&T and I have been happy with that, except my box buzzes when I over load it with recordings then it stops recording....the thought of having to call them, turns my stomach and I don't want to deal with it. So I just have to learn not to record so much. Don't know why Christmas has to be so stressfull at times. Try and have a great day and another Cinnamon Spice coffee...that sounds good!!!

Brenda I love your gingerbread man and I don't ever want to talk to our cable provider again either, but since our home phone, Internet and cell phones and cable are the same company I think I'll have to.

Brenda...isn't it wonderful to get all the support and love you need when you rant and rave? that is what we are here for!! so don't feel guilty about it! I hear my husband all the time say, " I need to speak to your supervisor!"...he doesn't much like dealing with people who don't know what they are talking about!

Fantastic card...one of the cuter gingerbread people I have seen! and what a great idea to put a hat on him! You still have 11 days to finish up whatever you need to get done...so NO worries!! Relax, have a cup o' Jo and make cards!!

Hi Brenda, this card is so gorgeous, love the gingerbread man and his santa hat! Sorry to hear about your poor service, it's so frustrating not getting the correct info that you need. I hope it gets sorted soon for you :) Cathy x
