I hope you all had wonderful family time over the holiday. Ours was a whirlwind of a weekend but I did manage to get started and made a few Christmas cards. Hope to add a few more today.
I used a Simon Says stamp and embossed it in gold. Then I used a very old set of metallic watercolors by Yasutomo. This is the first time I've used those paints and I do the love results I got. It is an inexpensive set of 21 colors I think I got at a craft store long ago. I splattered in gold and white paint.
I'll post the second one when I get it made into a card.
Well, to be Frank, I'd have to change my name.

This is gorgeous, Brenda! This was such a fun technique and I'm so glad we got to do it together. Love these metallic colors and your splatters! I'm glad you have found your files. I find that software and IT people never listen well!
Finally got a minute to visit, Brenda. What a whirlwind between the wedding, Thanksgiving, and Christmas cards! I think your result from our Zoom is sensational! I love your choice of stamp and love that I have it, which means I can CASE you! Hugs, Darnell
I'm glad you found out where all your photo's were going too. It seems like each time something new happens with technology, I struggle. No one listens to me either. lol Especially technology! This is gorgeous Brenda! I've been seeing all you guy's cards done like this and they are so striking! Love the stamp you used and I love the paints...oh the shimmer and shine, to die for! Hugs, Brenda
I know you've told me how great this technique is & you've shown it here! No excuse as I have the products--now to use them!
