From Halloween to Christmas

I am battling a cold and have had no energy all week. Today I feel better and my order came and inspired me to get busy and stamp. I am entering these cards for Twofer and the birds in CAS Christmas card challenge -  birds. Twofer is silhouettes.

I used a Memory Box die called Grove Branch for the silhouette on both cards. The Halloween scene used a very old wood mounted stamp set from SU and random stickers for the Boo. The branch is used as lightning to make it spooky.

The branch is used for a perch for the Picket Fence birds singing their Christmas Carols. The sentiment and music notes are Lawn Fawn. Going to take a nap now.

Be kind to one another.

I'm so sorry you have a cold and I hope you stay in and be especially careful until you feel better. You certainly didn't lose any of your imagination and creativity because of not feeling well! I just love that you thought to use a branch as a bolt of lightening! That background paper is perfection and the way you stamped the images reminds of a tornado in the Wizard of Oz with everything swirling around in a terrible storm! Awesome for Halloween! On the other side of scary is calm and that's what your sweet birds on a branch reflects! It's a darling Christmas card!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #32! Get well soon! Hugs, Darnell

So sorry to hear that you've got a cold, Brenda! Sure hope you start to feel better really soon dear friend. You've got a fun pair of Twofers here. That branch as a lighting bolt was completely out-of-the-box, and is a fantastic idea, and the background you've created is perfectly spooky! Sweet little Christmas card, too! Another great background, and those little birds are adorable and quite festive. So happy to see you in the gallery at The Twofer Challenge! Take care and feel better. xo Bev

I'm so sorry you aren't feeing well and have a cold. It is that time of year and the temps have been going back and forth doesn't help the cause. Feel better soon!!! I have to say though, you didn't lose any creativity with not feeling well! The lightening bolt from the tree branch is just genius! It really does look like a lightening bolt too. One of those spidering bolts. Making your scene very spooky looking! I love your sweet little Christmas birdies on the branch, so cool that it looks completely different as a branch. lol Well done with this challenge Brenda, you knocked it out the park for sure! Hugs, Brenda
