It's Ombre Time

I have two new followers I want to welcome to my blog this morning. HilaryJane of https://myfiddlingaboutpage.blogspot.com/ is from the UK and Bev from http://gottadothehappydance.blogspot.com/ and she is from Wisconsin. Thank you, ladies, for following my blog. I hope everyone stops in to say hello to them.

The prompt this month at CAS Mix Up is Ombre. I used three different colored cardstocks to make the ombre look. I added a flower die cut from a Sizzix thinlits set and a sentiment from Altenew. The flower is cut from black cardstock and the sentiment is stamped in black ink. Both are embossed with HA clear embossing powder.

Be kind to one another.

Those blue ombre stripes are gorgeous. When the girls were little, they had dresses like that. I'll have to find a photo to show you. Beautiful card, Brenda!

What a great idea to use color blocking for the challenge theme, Brenda! Love the blue shades! Adding the clear heat-embossing to the black die-cut and the sentiment is so effective and they beautifully pop against the blue ombre background. Thank you so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
