Happy Columbus Day

The card today has been sent and received so I can post it. I used re-inkers on a baby wipe and used that as my ink pad. I masked off the bottom and stamped my leaves, then masked off the top and stamped again. I love fall colors so this was a nice way to get them incorporated on a card.

I am going to enter this card into the 2nd Birthday Celebration at CAS Watercolor.

Be kind to one another.

What a stunning card Brenda! The autumn colors are just beautiful. I've never done the baby wipe technique because I don't buy re-inkers, but I am sure loving the look you got. I also love that frame you placed around your leaves. I am also loving the skittles you used-at least that is what I know them as. Some call them dew drops. Anyway I love this card! Hugs, Brenda

This is so pretty Brenda. What a great idea to create your own multi-coloured stamp pad. Your leaves are gorgeous and I love the split design with the sentiment in the middle. :) You know, these are the challenge colours for CAS Watercolouring this month. Would love for you to enter your card! xx

It's a nice technique and particularly effective with the stamping design you've done. This is an oldie technique, but would you believe, it's one I've never tried? So thanks for the inspiration...and what a good job you did with it! Hugs
