I had a lovely, sunny day and that always lifts my spirits after days of gray clouds. I was so happy to make my cards for the Twofer Card Challenge #3. It has been a while since I actually made a card on my own and I was having withdrawal. Busy week coming up with rehab, taxes and Molly's complete checkup, shots and teeth cleaning. Right now she is resting up for it!
I used an Altenew stamp, Spellbinders oval die, Lawn Fawn green polka dot paper and a SU sentiment on the first card and added a twine bow. The second card is alcohol inks on Yupo paper and a SU sentiment. I added a few unknown sequins. Be kind to one another.

I'm so tickled you were able to feed your addiction and stop those awful withdrawal pains, Brenda! It's a pretty flower image and both your cards are going to be very welcome in some lucky person's happy mail! You make me want to try AI on YUPO - I keep saying that in comments and still haven't done it! Slap! And your classic Easter card is so lovely with the green polka-dotty paper and the detailed oval mat! Thank you so much for supporting and playing along in Twofer Card Challenge #3! I hope you have more sunshine this coming week as you tackle all those errands and outings! Don't overdo it! Hugs, Darnell

Yeah for you, girlfriend!! So glad you are feeling better and getting out of the clouds and into the sun! You did a great job making two different cards all on your own...I think you are back on the road to creating! It is so nice to see you here and see what you make! Enjoy the day and the week ahead! Heart Hugs, to you my friend! Colleen

So glad to see your cards in the gallery at the Twofer Card Challenge, Brenda! The sunshine really makes a difference and I think daylight savings time helps too. Your Easter card is so cheery with the green polka dotted paper and your yellow flowers. I love the rounded corners too. Your AI on Yupo makes a perfect scene for your flower on your birthday card. I have yet to try it! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

Such a delicious duo, Brenda ... lovely traditional colours on your Easter card ... the delicate framing is so pretty against those sweet polka dots ... and the colouring and shading is fabulous! I love the sense of movement in the swiped AI colour on your birthday card ... leaving that blossom as line art really allows it to shine! Thanks so much for your visit and sweet words ... and for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)

They are both so gorgeous, Brenda!! I love how you've used the stamp on each one!! The colors and designs are beautiful!! I hope all is going well there. We're getting rain down here with the possibility of snow and ice. Ugh. Where's Spring??!! Have a great evening!! Big hugs :)

Goodness, Brenda! These are just amazing cards. Your Easter card is so full of Springtime goodness - the colors are so pretty and happy, and the bloom is beautiful on that lovely frame. Love it! Your birthday card is simply stunning. I don't think I could even begin to create such a cool background - wow! The bloom done in plain black really highlights that background, but doesn't detract from its own beauty. Great cards! Thank you for joining us at The Twofer Challenge! Bev

Oh how nice you finally got to do a bit of card making. I know how it feels when one cannot get inky like usual. But you certainly made gorgeous cards. Both the Easter card and birthday card are fantastic using that wonderful flower image. Thanks for joining in on the Twofer Challenge #3.

So, so happy you felt like crafting, Brenda! The sun does have a way of lifting spirits, that's for sure! What a beautiful floral stamp & 2 great cards! I'm especially drawn to the first one as I love the beautiful die as a mat for your perfectly colored flower! Wish we could spend a week together, but not sure how many cards we'd actually get made--haha! Good luck to Molly! Reminds me I haven't made Fritz's appt & his rabies was due last week--yikes!

Good for you! I still haven't come up with an idea. I love what you've done on each card with this pretty floral stem. Especially love the background & outline treatment of #2. #1 is just bright & sunny and a perfect Easter card. Have a great day, and TFS. Hugs
