Snow, snow everywhere! It's a good time to be inside. I am going a bit stir crazy being in so long. I have been in the recliner with my feet up since I am retaining fluid in legs, ankles and feet. I just heard back from the Dr. and they called in a water pill. Hopefully I will be able to get out tomorrow and go pick it up.

This is a pathetic attempt at the Twofercardchallenge but I so wanted to do it. It turns out I can't figure out how to print on the new computer. My whole card depended on me typing "What a feather in your hat". As a last resort I printed it. I'm so happy to be making cards I'm going to enter it anyway. Going back to recliner now. Be kind to one another.

2 great cards Brenda, clever use of the feather theme too! I like your printing, it looks like a lovely font from the computer. My handwriting is pretty messy by comparison! Take care, Cathy x

Hi Brenda, good luck with your expedition to the pharmacy, hope the raods are safe to drive on with all that snow, fluid is annoying, my system is blocked. Love the soft colours of the cards and the print out looks great, maybe ask one of your grandkids for help... they seem to know everything! Have a wonderful week... Megan

These are lovely, Brenda! (Why are we always so critical of ourselves?)Beautifully framed hat and with all the stamp sets using handwritten fonts there are, why not write it yourself! The birdies are adorable and that quote is so beautiful!
Thank you for joining us in the very first Twofer Card Challenge!

So glad to hear that you made it to the hospital and are now being treated . Hope you feel much better soon. Your two cards are lovely . Don't be so hard on yourself . Youv'e had great ideas on both of them. I didn't think I had a feather stamp but I have been having a real good sort out of my craft room and low and behold I found a freebie magazine one so guess I had best come up with something. Hugs Mrs A.

Both are wonderful card designs and I am glad you got to do a bit of creating fun. But be sure to keep your feet elevated. I know it is a cramp in your style but I guess sometimes we have to keep our health first.

So very pretty, Brenda, both of them! What a clever idea to use the feather in a hat for your congratulations card ... your handwritten sentiment looks great! The little birds are so sweet with the delicate feather drifting alongside them ... and the quote is simply lovely! Thanks so much for your visit and sweet words ... and for playing along with us at our inaugural Twofer Card Challenge ... especially when you're under the weather! Feel better soon! Anita :)

I was so happy to see your entry in this challenge, as I knew it meant you were feeling better. I love your ideas for the feather cards. Each card was so cute, and clever to work the feather in as you did. I struggled with the feather idea too, so I'm glad I'm not the only one who was 'challenged'! Good work with the new equipment. And hope you are soon back in good health. TFS & Hugs.

Wonderful feather cards Brenda!! I love the hat with feather ... so clever to use a saying. Lovely with the blue frame.
Your printing is perfect ... looks like it stamped to me. :) Beautiful colouring on your second card with the feather and birds. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge.

Sorry to hear you're not well. Hopefully the water pill will do the trick and you'll be up and about without any swelling. Take care. Loll

Now this is what a call dedication and true friendship! Thank you so much for the effort it took to make your two cards for my challenge, Brenda! They are really great and I hope you learned that you don't need to use the computer ever again to print out sediments! Your handwriting is beautiful! That is such a fun encouraging card! I have a feeling it will be sent to one of those grandchildren and whoever gets it will love it!!

I also love the caring card of Hope and the way you added the darling trio of birds along with the feather! These are both fantastic! I hope that water is coming off and you are feeling lots better and able to be up and around more. You are certainly due to whip this thing and have a do-over on the start of 2018! Gentle hugs, many thanks, and much love! xxoo Darnell

What a wonderful idea, to put a "feather in your cap"! I love that you used your own handwriting - you showed that printer who's boss! Ah, Emily Dickinson, such sweet words, and perfect with your feather and darling birds! Thanks for joining in on the fun at Twofer Card Challenge!

Brenda, this is not a pathetic attempt, these cards are fabulous!!! I love that you hand wrote the sentiment on your first card, nothing wrong with that! And I love the verse on the second card. A great use of your feather stamp, which I love. Keep those feet up my friend and I hope the water pills help with the fluid. Big hugs, Brenda
