I'm plodding along today. I went to my follow up appt. with Dr. Thursday and got a clean chest xray. That is wonderful news. I made a few stops on my way home and probably overdid it but I was out and wanted to get things taken care of. Then I didn't take my water pill until 3 pm and I was popping up like a Wack-a-mole all night long. Friday I was dead dog tired and no energy whatsoever. Today I am going to get back in the swing of things. I did get a birthday card made and I'm so pleased. I got some new SU copper embossing powder and was wanting to use it.  I used my new SU Count My Blessings stamp set and ribbon. Very simple, embossed flower and sentiment and added ribbon and sequins. The copper paper is from the Target dollar spot last year. The picture didn't come out very well but I am pleased with the card. Be kind to one another.

So glad to hear that your feeling much better but you do need to ease yourself into things gently . Slow and easy foes it. I rather like this embossing powder you have used here in your card. Hugs Mrs A.

A beautiful card Benda, your copper embossing is so elegant.
I'm so pleased that your chest xray was clear, you must be careful not to overdo things though.
Take care.

Easy to do too much when you've been down, but I'm so glad you're better, Brenda! How great you were up to making a card & a beauty it is! I have some copper paper from last year, too--need to get it out!

So pleased to hear you're on the mend, but even though I understand the 'overdo' when you've been puny for so long, I hope you get caught up and rested now. YOur card is beautiful. Enlarging the picture makes it show up very well. I expect that copper metal paper is hard to photo. (I got some too, but not used it yet. I love the copper color). Also loving the ribbon. The copper embossing looks wonderful with the graceful pair of posies and the gold sequins were a nice touch of bling! Good job. You take care! TFS & Hugs

Eep! This is stunning, Brenda! I love, love, love copper! Copper paper, copper embossing, copper sequins, and where did you ever find copper ribbon?! I wish there were some monochrome challenges going on now that I knew about because this is a monochrome masterpiece!!

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling well enough to do a bit of crafting! That's a good sign! You've been through the ringer, rinsed, run through the ringer again, rinsed ... you get the idea! Enough already!! Don't go out unless it's a dire emergency, like your black ink pad goes dry and you don't have a refill! It's just not worth it! Have the kids bring you whatever food and library books you need until, oh, about March 14th. Okay? Good! Love and hugs, Darnell
