I am starting to feel more like myself. Sunday I had a wonderful spurt of energy and got the Christmas stuff put away. What a relief that is. I still have somewhat of a brain freeze and can't think of the words I want to use and that is a little scary. Today I'm using my rescue inhaler since I'm having a bit of shortness of breath but the hospital called to check and said to do that.

I am so very happy to make another card today. I wanted to play in the

and try the cling wrap again. I was never good at it. Last night I tried again and used three colors of gelatos to make the background. Then I spritzed with water and smooshed. Then sprayed with starch and added the cling wrap. It sat overnight and this morning was the unveiling. To my surprise I have texture!! I die cut the heart, added a gold heart and gold sequins and stamped a sentiment. CAS using gelatos, die cut and stamping and with the cling wrap. Be kind to one another.

Glad you are continuing to feel better. I love the cling wrap heart design. I need to try that technique one of these days. You got such a nice coloring doing that. And, adding a touch of gold looks great with the design.

No, seriously, Gelatos? Clever girl! I have never thought of that and now I can't wait to give it a go with my unloved Gelatos! I think the resulting design is delicious and works beautiful for a big hearty Valentine!!

I'm late popping by so I'm hoping you are feeling even more tons better by now then you did when you wrote your post! Take a teasy and don't overdo! I've decided when I have a brain freeze and can't think of a word, I'm just going to say the word "blank" and keep on with the sentence rather than stop cold and search through my (obviously overcrowded and misfiled) brain folders! It will make everyone feel more blank. xxoo Hugs, Darnell

First, so glad that you seem on the mend, and yes the emergency inhaler is good to do with the SoB. Hang in there! And I'm happy you used your energy spurt to do something that didn't take a lot of physical energy either. I liked the term 'brain freeze'. Might borrow that phrase from you! Never thought to try this technique with gelatos, but you surely got a wonderful result. And it made a gorgeous valentine heart. This is a really pretty card, good for you! Big hugs, tfs

I am so glad you are feeling better Brenda! When we don't get enough oxygen our brains can't think well, hopefully that is the reason why you are having some brain freezes. I haven't even attempted doing the cling wrap technique yet! You have done a great job with that technique and I just love your card. I love the texture you got on that heart, it looks great! Fab card my friend. Big hugs, Brenda
