We are having some wonderful, warm days this week and through the weekend. I'm going out again today. This time to look at furniture and have lunch with Sharon, my SIL. It's been a long time and I'm looking forward to it.

Today's card is for my DIL's birthday in two weeks. I wish I had put it together straight but I don't think she will mind. I truly have an issue with straight. I use a positioner, a T ruler and the grid on my mat and I must move at the last minute because I hardly ever get things straight. That is also true when I park my car. I think I'm in the spot okay and when I get out and look, I'm never in right. I can't tell you how many times I get out and get back in and straighten up the car. I've said this before, I think my eyes must be on crooked!  Be kind to one another.

Oh yay! I'm glad you are out today and enjoying the warm up and your SIL!! I love, love, your card Brenda. The flower die is amazing and I so need me one of them. lol I have been seeing flowers like this all over the crafty community and I just adore them. I see nothing crooked with this card Brenda!! It all looks straight to me, so if it is crooked then my eyes must be crooked too. lol The that strip of pattern paper too. Hugs, Brenda

It must be all the wine we are consuming cos this looks as straight as straight can be. Love the colours. So glad to hear that your getting out and about and buying some bits and bobs for the home. Nothing like a change of scenery. Hugs Mrs A.

So good to read that you're getting out and about Brenda. I really think that as the Spring arrives we'll all emerge from our cosy nests, blinking into the sunshine!

LOVe this card and it look perfectly fine to me. It's so elegant too. One issue I have when taking photos is that if the camera isn't dead straight on either in front of (or overhead of a lying flat card) - then the top or bottom of the card will look tapered a bit - and things can look 'not quite straight. In real life they're straight as can be!

Oh wow--what a gorgeous card, Brenda--she'll love it! Glad you could get out for lunch with your SIL! Enjoy those warm temps while you can. We're feeling really cold now & it's supposed to be in the 30s tonight.

Beautiful card Brenda, looks straight to me too, I'm like you with parking the car though lol! Enjoy your shopping, you deserve to have some fun :)
P.S The rusting powder is a bit like embossing powder. You put glue down where you want it, tip on the powder, tip off the excess and return to the jar. Then you spray with white vinegar and leave for 15 minutes or so, it's a lot of fun! I'm going to try it on some diecut cogs. Cathy x

My eyes must be crooked too, because I don't see stuff until I see the photo. However, yours looks straight to ME! I love the silver die flower atop this scallop border with the sparkle of the gold dots. Looks very pretty against the dark blue. Glad you & Sharon are going out for a shopping trip and nice lunch. Enjoy the warmer weather. TFS & Hugs
