Oh Brrrr! We have a windchill of -17 this morning. That is some serious cold here. I went to my SIL's party yesterday and it was so nice. Her daughter made a fantastic lunch and we had a great time. It was really nice to do a social thing but I was surprised that I wasn't my usual talkie self and I don't know why. I enjoyed the day and it was nice to see everyone. I just don't seem to be up to par yet. I was going to join my son and the grandkids to do something today since they are out of school but I don't want to go out in this cold. It's hard to get your breath in this kind of cold. I will start on my Valentines instead. Here are a few more wonderful cards I received. Be kind to one another and if you are around Indiana, keep warm.

That is too cold!! Bet Molly thinks so, too! So glad you got to attend the party--not good to just be by yourself for too long, but I wouldn't go out in that cold either. What beautiful cards--I know you're enjoying them. Warm hugs from Oregon, Greta
I'm glad you enjoyed some social time Brenda. I know what you mean about not being your chatty self. I think between being sick and dealing with all you have been dealing with for so long, it just takes the talk out of you. I've not been near as chatty as I usually am either. But being social does help even if I still find myself talking about Dwayne all the time. It is cold here too and very windy. After the warm start to winter this is all but killing us. lol Our bodies just aren't used to it yet. We aren't quite as cold as you are, we are in the single digits with the wind chill and 19 degrees. Still cold enough for me!!! I handle the 40's better and wish that is where our temps were. No snow on the ground yet for here, but we have had snow, just didn't stick and it melted as fast as it came down. Stay warm and keep Molly warm too! Beautiful cards once again. I just love this community of crafters! Love and hugs, Brenda
What beautiful cards!! I hope you are feeling better every day. I don't blame you for not wanting to get out in this cold...it's bone-chilling!! Stay warm my friend!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

Hi Brenda, sounds like you had a lovely time with family. Sometimes it's nice just to be and not have to say too much. I'd send you some of our gorgeous sunshine here at the moment if I could :) Take care, Cathy x
TFS the cards...I see a familiar one! I'm glad if these are bringing you some comfort. And also happy that you stayed inside where you could keep warm, keep that cold air off your chest. Expect it may take you a while to get back to 100%. Even aside from the 'bug' that has gotten you down, you've had a pretty stressful while, and all of it takes recovery time. Just keep busy with your crafts, and whatever feels right at the time. TFS & Hugs.
Has it warmed up any there, Brenda? I talked to my sisters in Iowa and they were describing how bitterly cold it's been, especially on the little doggies, so that makes me think of poor Molly, too! I'm sure you will bounce back to your talkie self when you get your body recharged. You were sick for WEEKS so you can't be expected to be back to normal in a short time. I hope you are taking care and enjoying eating again!! Hugs, Darnell
