Here are the last of the Christmas cards. I can't thank you all enough for thinking of me and sending such beautiful handmade cards. I need to really get busy as I have sat on my duff for almost two weeks now. I did get the Christmas stuff put away yesterday so I guess that is progress. We are having some really warm, warm days here but that is suppose to change this weekend with one degree wind chills and snow on Sunday. My plan was to shop after Christmas and pick up bargains but that didn't happen. I guess I didn't need them! Be kind to one another.

You sure did get a wonderful collection of Christmas cards, Brenda! I still have a bit of Christmas to get put away (that doesn't take hubby on the ladder) & then I have to put the things back that are stored in the spare room--so you're ahead of me--haha! You must feel some better & I'm so glad for that. Take care of yourself!

Brenda, so happy to hear this latest health report from you! It sounds like you are on the mend friend!! Hey the Christmas 'stuff' can just stay awhile...no worries, put it away at your leisure and when you are feeling up to it! Maybe a little 'Santa's helper' will stop by and help you! (grandchildren...son...!) Loved your collection of Christmas cards! thanks for sharing! It is quite lovely getting those 'homemade' cards, isn't it? Take care friend! Heart Hugs, colleen

You received some very pretty Christmas cards! Sounds like you might be feeling a little better......finally. That was a long time to be sick. I'm having trouble with my foot. The doctor says plantar fascitis and I am now wearing a big, ugly boot for the next 4 to 6 weeks. Ugh! I feel like Frankenstein. Hope you have a good weekend.

I enjoyed seeing your posts with the pretty Christmas cards you've received, Brenda! Aren't we blessed to know such talented and lovely people! I'm concerned that you haven't really turned the corner yet on this new diet of yours and I pray that you can get back to normal soon!! Hugs, Darnell

So glad you seem to be picking up again from that nasty bug Brenda! As Darnell says though, you must eat. I can send Parsnip over bearing (geddit?!) s good old fashioned English Golden Syrup suet pudding if you like. Thought not!

I was pretty upset about no preventative meds too for this wretched foot. Will be speaking to my doc. on Wednesday and hope we can discuss it then as I did feel it was based a bit on cost of the meds rather than need. Sigh.

Hugs

I hope you are all over that nasty bug, Brenda! Not a good way to start the new year is it! Take care and get yourself fully recovered before you go back out into that germy world! Blessings to you.

Here I am playing catch up again Brenda. I am glad that you are doing well from your bug that you caught. I think it is the season for this stuff. So I'm just trying to stay healthy. The cards that you have received are just gorgeous! Isn't this community the best?!! Sorry I didn't send you one, I didn't send any cards for the first time in over 20+ years. I just couldn't get myself together to do it. I got many and feel so bad that I didn't send any. Hopefully I will make up for it next year. Hang in there Brenda, and know that we all love you and are keeping you in our prayers. Love and hugs, Brenda
