You know what I think I like best about stamping. Okay, I'm glad you want to know. It is because age makes no difference with stampers. We all come together no matter what age we are. From young to old we can all relate and talk the same language. I think that is the best thing ever. I had lunch today with my SU demo because she hasn't had a class for a long time and we all miss getting together. That's when I realized how much younger she is than me but we have bonded in the classes and know each other and the others through talking while we stamp. It is the same with blogging. We know each other because we share things other than stamping but that's what brings us together. Isn't that the greatest thing! I'm sure it's the same with blogs of readers, cooks, sewing and quilting, etc. But the point being I truly love it. Today's card is for absolutely no reason and that's not like me. I used only dies and distress ink and was just playing. Be kind to one another.

What a lovely post, Brenda. Crafty bloggers are some of the most supportive and friendly people I know, even though only one or two I have met in real life. It's like one big family! I'm lucky enough to have a local monthly craft group which I usually go to - not much crafting gets done, just lots of chatting, laughing and seeing what everyone is working on..... oh, and chocolate!

I love your card, Brenda. Beautiful design and gorgeous colours. Sometimes it's nice to make a card for no particular reason, other than you feel like being creative. xx

Oh Brenda, this post really could be framed. Liz recognised it as well - we are such a network of little feathers that we truly do give lift like wings to one another I think.

Love your card kiddo - and remember that I really could be knocking on for 100 in real life - would you know or be bothered? :)

Love and a hug sweet friend

Hi Brenda! I'm over here from Mary H. And you're so right that card makers and bloggers are some of the nicest people! It is a very special group! I love your card! Beautiful background and a pretty die! Sometimes it's soothing to just play and make a card for no reason at all except that it brings us pleasure. If it's sent it passes the pleasure along.

I came back for another peek - this really IS one stunning card B! Gorgeous colours too.And I suspect i'd have to raid your dies if I ever come and visit.

Oh good grief, it's almost midnight here and I'm waiting until the Sunday Playground post goes live OK - meanwhile, I can hear that Spike the hedgehog is playing ball with his food bowl in the garden (yard). I need to go see what's ruffling him! :)

Hugs

Very philosophical post with a lot of real truths expressed here. It doesn't matter if you're old or young, we have the common thread that we like color, pretty designs, and we learn from each other. SInce I'm a copier rather than a creator, this is my forum for great ideas! Speaking of which: This No Reason card is beautiful. Like the bright shades of blue mixed with the other colors, the subtle patterns withink the colors and the lovely die shapes you've used to make it sparkle. I'm always so thankful to have met so many wonderful people...just like you. And looking so much forward to a face-to-face soon! TFS & Hugs. Have a happy Sunday

Oops..that should have been 'within' not 'withink'! LOL
