Early last month I had a question about a test I took. I never look at My Chart from the doctor because I go in, do what he says, and get better. But I wanted to see what the results were from the test so I went there. I'm reading and find out I am end stage COPD. We had never discussed this and I had no idea. I do know I am worse and having a hard time breathing and so tired with no energy. I called and got an appt. but he backed off and said it should just say advanced. It really doesn't make any difference, what will happen will happen. But it did something to my brain. I don't see any point in doing anything since it won't matter. It's taken me quite a while to come to terms with this. I am better now and can joke a bit but I wish I hadn't seen it but it's implanted now and won't go away.
I have done nothing all this time but needed to get a few cards made for the family birthdays. So I've started again with simple, easy cards. This one is Paper Rose paper that is perfect for my son. They live on a small lake and have a john boat, fish, have ducks and it's so pleasant. I cut up the scenes and added them to a Waffle Flower die. Easy and he loved it.
I hate when people drop off from blogging and I don't know what happened to them so this is just a heads up. No need to comment, this is just a recap.
They say when you retire you will travel more. They don't tell you it is to doctor appointments.

This is even better than I imagined when you told me about it, Brenda! Of course your son liked it. It's perfect for him! Be kind to yourself. You deserve it! XOXO
Yes, it is unsettling when you see certain results, especially if they aren’t explained fully. I miss the old days when you talked to the doctor and could ask questions then and there. But, I’m happy to see a beautiful card with gorgeous scenery paper! It’s perfect and I’m sure your son loved the card!! Take care, hugs!!
That's a fantastic card Brenda, perfect for lake life. And yes, ailments escalate after the age of 60 🤬
Just a brilliant card! I'll have to remember that option with the postal collage die. I so wish I could just come by for a visit, my dear friend. We don't know what tomorrow holds, so we just have to take a day at a time--do what we can and enjoy what makes us happy.
