An unintended break

I wish it wasn't so, but I'm tired. Maybe starting to feel my age or maybe the state of the world. I wish it didn't bother me but it does. Day after day, it drags me down. It's been so cold and now it's so gray. Rain every day until next Tuesday. Fog, chilly days. I'm tired. I want to make cards, I bought some new products that just sit there. Everything seems like so much work. I make myself do one big thing a day and sometimes that's all I can do. I sleep well and that's a blessing.

This card was made for a friend I made through stamping. I value all of you so much. This bouquet of flowers was sent to me by another blogging friend and I love it so much. She sent a hand full so you will see them again. I ran vellum through an embossing folder and added a scalloped frame.

Know the difference between humans and animals? Animals would never let the dumbest one lead the pack.

Be kind to one another.

Dear Brenda, I'm sending a lot of good thoughts and a lot of hugs and wish you feel better. I think it is the state of the world making all of us feeling bad.
You've created a beautiful card. I like soft colors and scaloped frame.
The joke at the end of your post is so true!

Brenda so sorry to hear you don't have much energy, the winter can really take it out of you ❤️ Take care of yourself.

Brenda that saying is so true! The world has changed, and it’s affecting us all. I try to focus on the good things, but it’s not always easy. We can count the sunny days this year on one hand, but we do have signs of spring, and you will too. That’s a very pretty card. Take care, thinking of you xxx

So wish I could just pop by and give you a hug, my dear friend. We could drink coffee and laugh and make a card if we felt like it. The world is feeling pretty dark and it's hard to be hopeful. Like you, I so value my cardmaking friends even though I don't see them in person. Know that you're not alone. I totally adore this beautiful card which I can see from my chair. Hope you can feel the love and support aimed your way!

It's been a long winter for you. I hope the sun comes out soon and you will start to feel more energetic. Try to focus on all the love being sent your way and not on the idiots that are running the world. Keep on making pretty cards like this one. Maybe they'll cheer you up as well as the rest of us. Love you. XOXO

I'm so sorry you are tired ... it is hard! Especially when it stops you from creating cards ... your happy place. This card is a beauty! LOVE the soft colours, the dreaminess of the vellum, and the gorgeous bouquet of flowers. Great work, my friend. Now time for a rest. Love you, Lolly

I wish you lived where it was sunnier, sweet lady. It is so hard not to be depressed with the world the way it is, but to have bleak harsh weather day after day would do in the strongest person. I know I'd be under the bed, so I get it and I'm sending big hugs. Spring WILL arrive. We can only hope we don't get blown up before then. Oops. I did an uplift there and then I dropped you.

In spite of it all, you made a really pretty card! Those darn washi tape flowers are so gorgeous, but the tape makes a million of them, so I'm sure everyone appreciates the pretty way you displayed this group - I know I do! Love the scalloped frame!

And finally, your last comment is a perfect analogy for our current cluster! Can we print it up, enlarge it, oh, I don't know, ten million times and then get a plane to fly over the country with it ten million times?

Okay, shake it off now and go make something with your new schtuff and show us! Love you, Darnell

Sorry to hear that you were feeling down, Brenda. I understand about the state of the world today. I get your weather, so I understand that, too. The temps are warmer, especially today where it's in the 70's. The warm temps are a tease, though, for now. I hope we have more stable temps next month. Your card is so pretty with the lovely background and beautiful flowers! Do what you can when you can, my dear friend! I always enjoy seeing your wonderful beautiful creations! You take good care! Big hugs!!

So sorry to hear you don't have the energy for crafting, Brenda (or for much else). Hopefully when spring arrives, the nicer weather will perk you up. Meanwhile, this is a lovely card - such a pretty bouquet and a nice background.
