They are mailed

I got ready to mail my cards Saturday morning. I gathered the cards, a squirter bottle of warm water to melt the ice, a towel to completely dry the mailbox door, pliers to curl the hook a bit more to keep the door closed, the key fob for my car to drive to the mailbox and foxy. (Foxy is my portable oxygen. Since she is always with me when I'm out I felt like I should name her so she is Foxy, for foxy oxy). It was quite an undertaking but I was ready for anything. I drove down, the mailbox door was closed, I opened it and put my cards in, closed the door and put the flag up just fine. Turns out my neighbor sent her son down to fix mine and open hers! It's wonderful to have such terrific people around you.

This card uses a new Unity Santa stamp and is matted by Simon Says Postage Stamp Edge Frames. I colored the image with Copics and the greeting is by Rubber Stampede, an old company set I've had for years.

I usually don't talk about the expensive trips I take...but I just got back from the grocery store.

Be kind to one another.

Your tale of all the tools you needed for the mailbox made me laugh! All that and then you didn't need them since your lovely neighbour fixed it for you! Sweet little Santa card! And having laughed at the start of your post, I laughed again at the end though I shouldn't have as it is so true about the cost of groceries!

Darling image perfectly colored! So sweet of your neighbor to have her son fix your mailbox as well as hers. At least you were prepared and not to be denied! Too bad you didn't know it had been fixed. Wish I could send you milder weather!
