The heat is on

My part of the country is in another heat wave this week, so I'll get more cards made. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are going to be in the 100's heat index and I'm just not up for that.

Quick update on Daisy. The meds worked and she isn't in pain anymore. She isn't suppose to jump on things but she is so fast I'm having a hard time keeping up with her to lift her onto things. I hope an inflammation was all it was and it's over with.

This card was made with one of my new paper pads called Autumn Flowers Scrapbook paper from Amazon. I just cut a piece into four parts and added a sentiment. I know these cards are simple but they are designs that I've never made before so I feel like I'm branching out.

I hate when the cashier feels the need to see if my money is real. If I could counterfeit money I wouldn't be at the Dollar Store!

Be kind to one another.

what gorgeous DP you used here Bonnie! I love the colors and they look perfect framed with your grey card base - this makes for a beautiful BDay card - glad to hear Daisy is better - maybe you should get a ramp to put in front of the furniture she likes to get up on? (like they use for dachshunds?) Julia xx

This paper is gorgeous and you've used it in a perfect way! That gray background is perfect framing for a classy card! I'm looking forward to seeing more cards done with your patterned paper! Glad Daisy is better and that you don't have pain from trying to lift her.

So glad to hear Daisy is doing better! That sounds like a horrible heat wave you're having - that would be too hot for me to be outside for sure! Love your card - a great design with that beautiful patterned paper.

That is gorgeous paper, and I love how you cut it into panels. I’m glad Daisy is feeling better, you’ve done a grand job trying to stop her jumping, you deserve a rest xxx

That beautiful paper is enough. You don't need to add anything. Lovely card

What a great idea to cut the pp which adds even more beauty to it, Brenda! I commend you for actually using this gorgeous paper rather than hoarding it and I'm all about QACAS! Great joke, too! Love, Darnell
