I used the Memory Box pinpoint leaf plate for the background and die cut the Poppystamps lorelai outline leaf from gold cardstock. The sentiment is Penny Black embossed in gold and cut with a Poppystamps die, then popped up with dimensionals. Now, it's getting it to the mailbox in this below zero windchill weather!

A beautiful sympathy card, Brenda. I love the subtle pattern on the background and the simple die cut.
We get daily reports on our news about the wildfires in California. Thinking of all those affected by the devastation.

This is such a classy sympathy card, Brenda! I hope this is the kickstart you needed but sorry it had to be a sympathy card! The fires and destruction is heartbreaking!
That is my idea of a perfect sympathy card - I like them to be quite plain and very classy. Yours is perfect and could be given to anyone.
A lovely elegant card, always hard to make. The fires are just devastating in all ways. Hope you’re mojo is back, it certainly looks like it 🤗😍xx
Lovely elegant card. I think simple is the way to go for sympathy cards. I think we are due for a couple of days of warmer weather. Hopefully it will melt some of the snow.
A beautiful sympathy card, Brenda! It's so pretty and elegant! Take care and stay warm!!
A lovely sympathy card made special by you, Brenda. It's so peaceful and elegant. Stay warm, dear friend! xx
Beautifully elegant sympathy card, the touch of gold is so pretty against the die cut background ♥
Hi Brenda, a lovely sympathy card, love the pinpoint background with the lorelai diecut in gold. The fires seem especially devastating as it is in your winter, while we have had few fires here in our summer, this year we have had storms which have caused fires from lightening strikes. Have a wonderful week... Megan
So true about how hard it is to bounce back and get into a routine. I love your first card back, even though I'm sad you need a sympathy card. It's a pretty design that would be great for any occasion, especially with metallics and it's going right into my to-CASE folder! Hugs, Darnell
Perfect card for a sad occasion Brenda xx
This is SO pretty with the embossed background matching the design of your lovely gold die cut stem Brenda - sorry you needed a sympathy card - I'm sure it will be appreciated by the receiver! Julia xx
