when I made this card I didn't really know how to splatter. I think I've done it before but I just couldn't get it to work on this card. I used an Alexandra Renke die for the flower and a small punch to add the middle burst. When I tried to splatter I ended up just taping the brush on gently for color. I guess some days your brain just doesn't work.
My friend David had his ID stolen. Now he is just Dav.

This is beautiful, Brenda! I've really got to use my AR dies which I've cut but haven't made into a card yet. The gold top layer is such a wonderful element! Hope you're doing well, my friend! Happy Holiday Weekend!
So beautiful, Brenda! Gorgeous flower in lovely color! I think you did well with the splatters! Cute joke, too! It has me as anonymous. But, just letting you know it’s me, Maria Patrick.
This is such a pretty whimsical flower, Brenda! Splatters come and go around here. Sometimes it works well and sometimes not! In this case it makes a great background! Hope you're not getting severe storms tonight.
Beautiful card design! Thanks for the laughs too!
Love your two layer flower that is so gorgeous with the gold. Your splatters looks good to me. :) xx
Beautiful flower. That gold center is a real standout. I like your splatters. I've tried that and usually make a mess of it. Just have to keep practicing I guess.
This is simply stunning with that flower and those pretty gold touches that add elegance! I like the spatters - something I rarely ever do because mine don't spatter well either! LOL Happy July 4th!
your article amazing

I love your card Brenda! That flower is so pretty and I love the 3D look you have with the center of it. You got some cool "splatters" even if they weren't the look you were going for. I love them! My mind is in way to many fogs and I can't remember what I know. It's frustrating to say the least! So I'm right there with you Brenda! Hope you had a nice 4th of July! Hugs, Brenda
A lovely card Brenda, so pretty.

Poor Dav. It's such a hassle reinventing your id. As for your schplatters, I like them, Brenda. I think the sperm look goes perfectly with the long wriggly stamens on the pretty flower. I mean, right? You could have let us think it was intentional, cuz that's how it looks to me. Hugs, Darnell
