A fun new (to me) technique
This is my card to enter in the casmixup challenge. It is called Faux Cloisonne' and I love the look it gives. You stamp over a glossy magazine page and emboss with gold embossing powder, then cut it out. I used an Altenew stamp and die for this card. I didn't realize the sentiment was a bit wonky until I saw the picture but it doesn't look like that in person. This was a fun technique to try. The image and sentiment were stamped and embossed. I also die cut the image and gold for the sentiment.

A stunningly beautiful card Brenda and it's a technique that I've never tried but I'm a little late to join this month but perhaps something that I will try later. It's great to be pushed out of your comfort zone every now and again x
