Monoprint
I really wanted to join this month's casmixup challenge because I never had good luck with making a monoprint. It was always a blob that had no relationship to a monoprint and no way to pass it off as such. With great perseverance I made this and it came out okay. I actually used yellow, orange and brown DI sponged over the stencil (that is a beautiful Artplorations stencil from a sweet friend) but when I spritzed it most of the color went away. I got such a good image that looks like a sunflower I decided to post it and hope it shows up enough to see.

Glad you stuck with it - it turned out to be quite pretty! Love that giant flower!
Wow Brenda, you got a great monoprint! I haven't braved it to try it yet. lol Love how yours came out, I can see the brown and yellow, just not the orange, but I'm sure it is there. You know how photo's are....you don't always see all the beautiful colors. I love how you kept this simple, the print is the star and I love it! Hugs, Brenda
I still need to try that technique--you've inspired me! This looks great!
