Time to start thinking about snowmen

Well, it will be here before we know it! The theme this month at caschristmascardchallenge is Snowman. We have been in the 90's so it was a good way to cool off by playing in the challenge.

I used a very, very old sizzix die to cut this snowman. The die cuts each thing individually so you have to color and add the eyes, nose, buttons and arms to the snowman. The scarf was cut from pp. I added glossy accents to his eyes and buttons and added him to a snow embossed background panel.  The sentiment is Penny Black. It didn't cool me off as much as I had hoped but it's a happy card.

Be kind to one another.

You have built a cutie. Who can resist a snowma? Did you notice the snowflake embossing looks like he has spiky hair--how fun.

Oh gosh, this large snowman sure is cute with his carrot nose and fun dotted scarf! Christmas will be here before we can blink our eyes twice me thinks, so way to work ahead of the rush!

Brenda your snowman is so cute, he looks like he's soon going to become a puddle with his wobbly body. Your background is perfect to keep him cold :). Thanks for joining us at CAS Christmas.

What a cute big frosty snowman!! Wonderful embossed background, too! We had a cool day here yesterday, but I know the heat is going to return. My son is visiting family in Phoenix where it got up to 116 yesterday. We might go and visit when it’s cooler in the fall. Anyways, take care and have a great weekend, hugs!

Our 90's left us and we have had beautiful days this week. Temps in the high 70's, but very cool at nighttime, 50's. Not good for keeping the pool warm, but beautiful days all the same. Sorry to hear you are still so hot there Brenda! It is very hot in so many places, the 100;s out west. This weather is crazy for sure. I adore your snowman card! This frost guy is so cute. Don't you love when you can makes something old new again?! The snowflake background is perfect for this little cutie. You and Daisy stay cool!!! Hugs, Brenda

Your snowman is so cute, Brenda! The shiny eyes, nose, buttons, and arms make him look even cuter. The polka dot scarf and the dry embossed snowflake background add so much interest and texture to the card. Sponging around the edges of the sentiment panel is a really nice and effective touch. Thank you so much for sharing this cute one with us at CAS Christmas! Stay cool. ;-P

Very cute card, Brenda--love the embossed background! Too hot here for me, but at least we don't have severe thunderstorms like I see in your forecast! Hope Daisy is doing better with them. So hard when furbabies are scared & nothing we can do. Sending hugs, Greta

Wonderful snowman card. He may not have cooled you off, but he’s one cool dude. Glad to see you joining us this cutie at CAS Christmas.

Our mini heat wave is coming starting tomorrow. Not looking forward to it.

It's like a snowman paper doll and it's adorable, Brenda! Thank you for cooling me off, at least for a minute. It's been brutal, but today it should drop to the high 90s which will be a blessing and then cooler during the week and then up to a hunnert again next weekend. Summer. It's not for the hormonally challenged! Think I'll go make a snowy card! Hugs, Darnell

Your snowman is a real cutie Brenda, love his dotty scarf and his punk hair from the embossing folder :) It's very chilly here at the moment, never cold enough for snow though. Thankyou for joining us in the CAS Christmas gallery, Cathy x
