So here's what happened. There was a patch of ice right outside my front door. I wanted to make sure if anyone came to the door they would not fall on the ice. I went in the garage and got the cup from inside the bag of ice melt and filled it up. Went to the front door and walked out and spread it all over the ice. Came back in and back to the garage to put the cup back. I thought the melt looked different than I remembered so when I lifted the bag to put the cup back I read the label. Turns out it is plant food, not ice melt. I wonder if I throw some seeds on the porch if I can grow a garden in the spring.

Thank you for starting my day off with a laugh. That sounds like something I would do. lol SUPER cute card, Brenda! Those hearts do look challenging to glue, but so pretty. Stay safe, my friend. Hugs, Sharyn
Pretty card. And funny story. One of those what I call senior moment.

OMG, what a great story, that could have been written by me!! LOL! thanks for the chuckle, good thing you didn't slip and fall on your way back inside after spreading the plant food all over your porch!! Lovely card, the hearts are super cute, a labor of love for sure!! Heart Hugs!
What an amazing story! It can happen to all of us. I also have a lot of different stuff in my garage. :-) Try to put some seeds on it and give us a report in spring. :-) Your Valentine card is sweet with a lot of white hearts on red background.
Take care of ice and everything else and stay safe!
Hugs, Sonja
Beautiful card, Brenda. I love the die you've used. It made me smile when I read you little story, that's the sort of thing I would do! Take care it there's ice about, far safer to stay inside and make some cards. xx
OMG, I can't stop laughing at your story of the plant food instead of ice melt! It sounds so much like something I'd do! A garden wouldn't look too bad at the front door now would it? LOL I love this card and tried to buy that die but it's out of stock for now. It was well worth your effort to glue all those connected hearts! Beautiful!
A fabulous card Brenda, an elegant design.
A great story, it sounds like the sort of thing I would do!

A beautiful card with the lovely hearts, Brenda! A cute funny story! Just happy that you didn’t slip and fall! A garden on your porch would be a wonderful sight to see, lol!
You scared me for a second Brenda as I thought you were going to say you fell on that dang patch of ice! So happy to hear that wasn't the case, but instead a case of mistaken bags. lol Funny story and one we all can relate too. Your card is beautiful and well worth gluing down all those hearts. I love the sentiment too. Hugs, Brenda
Whew!... I thought your story was heading in a different direction and you had fallen, But you were just getting a head start n your gardening.
Your card is lovely. I have the SSS stars version of that die and found it difficult to use... kept ripping when I tried removing it from the die. ðŸ˜
Has anything sprouted yet, or is it still too cold? Did it melt the ice anyway? They say not to put too much fertilizer on your plants or you will burn them, so perhaps you've made a great discovery that in a pinch, if you don't have salt, you can use plant food! See how I turned that all around so now you're a genius?!! I love your rosy-colored Valentine covered in hearts and matted in pink! It's very purdy! Keep safe. Next stop, the optometrist! Love and hugs, Darnell
I love your card and thanks for the laugh! I hope your ice will melt anyway!
Hee hee, I'd say throw some seeds out there, but who wants to have to sweep plants off the porch! Hoping it melted the ice! Love those white hearts on the dark pink background! Kudos for all that gluing!
Oh too funny! Love this sweet card, Brenda!
You are so hilarious!! I think you should throw some seed there ... just see what happens. :) Lovely Valentine's card Brenda. Love the pink hearts with the deep coloured card front. So pretty together. xx
