This is an easy card made with the packing tape technique. I used rock candy glitter on the tape and red gems to decorate the tree. The die is a Hero Arts tree. We make this at Stampin' Up class and I have made several more at home. We used a glitter at class that was SU. I added a gold star from a sequin pack.

Cute tree...but how did you use the packing tape? Glitter on the sticky side and glue to card? Not sure, easy and fun to make?
You were brave to use reall glitter. The result looks fabulous. Thankyou for the offer of sardines for the penguins. To get round the post office not liking the smell I have sent you a couple of penguins instead. Might not get to you in time for Christmas but hey Penguins are not just for Christmas. Lol.!!
Q. What did the Christmas tree say to the bauble?
A. Quit hanging around.
Have a lovely Christmas and a happy new year. Hugs Mrs A.🦋🐧🐧
What a sparkling beauty! I just love the inset with all that gorgeous glitter! Very pretty card! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Beautiful and so sparkly with the tree design.
Thanks for the technique reminder... so simple yet effective. Love the beautiful sparkle.
Lovely card, Brenda. I love the sparkly tree. xx
Love that sparkly tree with the red ornaments and gold star! A great CAS Christmas card!
What a cute card! I've never used the packing tape technique, but you've inspired me!
Oh, so gorgeous! Love all the sparkle and shine!! Sounds like a fun technique!!
Hmmm, I've never heard of the packing tape technique, but if I'm seeing it right, it looks like you stick beads to the tape where it will show through and then attach the ends of the tape to the back of the aperture? I'm bookmarking this because I have a few vials of teeny beads to get rid of and I think it's brilliant! Let me know if I have the concept wrong so I don't get all frustrated trying to make it work, lol! Hugs, Darnell
