My zoo twofer

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter day. We had a beautiful sunny day and lots of good eating and company.

My cards today are for the Twofer Card Challenge #15 featuring zoo animals. I don't have zoo animals so I had to go "down under" and visit their zoo.  I used Lawn Fawn stamps. I sponged clouds on the birthday card and stamped the images, then cut out a circle. Then all I did was match the frame and circle up and glued them together. I used the same stamp on a Penny Black frame and Lawn Fawn Santa hat with a sentiment from Rubber Stampede on the Christmas card.

Be kind to one another.

How fun that you thought of a kangaroo, Brenda! She's darling with her little Joey in the pouch on both your Hoppy Birthday card and your Christmas card! Great sky sponging and I love the way you cut a stitched circle through your design for interest! And she makes a cute Santa with her stylish Santa hat on your Christmas card! Awesome idea to have her hat match your pretty background pp!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #15! I'm so glad you had a terrific Easter with your family! Hugs, Darnell

I love that you used a kangaroo Brenda!!! If that isn't a zoo animal, I don't know what is! This little gal is just darling, love that she has her little joey in her pouch too. I wish I would have thought to put clouds on my card, but didn't until after the fact! Duh to me! Love how your clouds came out. I also love your kangaroo as a Christmas card. She is even more adorable with her Santa hat on! Love that paper you used as well. Well done my friend! Hugs, Brenda

O, how cute, Brenda! Your kangaroo twofer is amazing. I like the cute little scene on birthday card and fabulous transformation of kangaroo mother to the Santa on the Christmas card. :-)
Have a nice day!

We used to live by the the Brookfield Zoo in Illinois, and I loved visiting the kangaroos! They are just so different from any other animal. Your birthday kangaroo looks so at home in that focal circle - such a great way to feature her. I love that you made a Christmas card with her! It's the "unexpected" that makes this card so fun! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

Love that you went down under, Brenda ... your little kanga with her joey is adorable! She's so sweet set in that summery, soft clouded scene (complete with eucalyptus tree!). How fun and unexpected to have her appear in festive mode on your Christmas card in that cute pp santa hat... great humour! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
