This card turned out so well I wish you could see it in person. Well, you can if you come over to my house.  Call first and make sure I'm home. But anyway it is drops of several different colors of reinker on a paper plate. Then I took a cotton ball and pounced with one color all over a panel of glossy card stock. Let that dry and pounce the next color. They blend together and make a beautiful, shiny background. The stamps are Stampin Up. Be kind to one another.

I've never even thought to use reinkers like that Brenda. It really did made a pretty background for this sensational card. I've loved that stamp set ever since I saw it - and wish I'd gotten it. Beautiful card.

It's a beautiful background, and don't think I've ever tried this pouncing as you described. (I've done it with the felt on a blender tool). It's a lovely marbled effect. Frames this pretty trio of birds so nicely...and I'd love to come see it in person! I'm happy you are able to get out and about and not staying home all the time too! TFS & Hugs

Wow Brenda, this is a fabulous card! I wish I could come over and see it in person....maybe one day, who knows. I love the look you got with the pouncing with the inks. It looks great. Did you do it on the blue mat too? So beautiful! I also love the little scene you created. I don't buy re-inkers and now I wish I had of. lol Hugs, Brenda
