Talk about the skin of your teeth, that's what I'm doing for the

  this month.

The first card is made with Lawn Fawn paper and a spellbinder circle die. The drink was stamped from Stampin Up set Cheers to You and colored with Copics.  The sentiment is Hero Arts.

On my second card I sponged Distress Oxide Ink for sky, sand and used SU paper for the water. I stamped the drink glass on orange card stock three times and just cut out the glass, cutting off the strawberry and straw. When I turned them over, they became fish. I added eyes with a black gel pen and used a glitter pen on them. The teeny schools of fish are from an Avery Elle stamp set and the sentiment stamped on the sand is from an Echo Park stamp set. The seaweed is Simon Stamp Says Best Fishes set. I used glossy accents on the drink and bubbles over the fish. I had so much stuff out I almost couldn't find the cards when I was finished. Be kind to one another.

Please know you don't have to drink to be happy.

Now this is just clever! I would NEVER have thought of using this goblet to turn into a trio of fish!!! Love BOTH of these cute & cleverly designed cards! The fish design was really thinking out of the box. Something I'm not very good at doing at all! Hope you got rested up this weekend from all the fun. And Molly too! Bet she was so happy to be back home! TFS & Hugs

You made goldfish out of a goblet, Brenda! What a fantastic imagination you have! I love your "be happy" card, because, I mean, how could you not with that glossified strawberry beverage (alcoholic or not) and your bouncy joyful pp! And I ... wait, hold on a second. I have just received a call from the National Science Academy where they have told me they have formed a new glass of fresh-water fish, er, I'm sorry, a new CLASS of fresh-water fish and they are giving you full credit for the new Golden Goblet Goldfish! Yippie! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #7! Hugs, Darnell

When I saw your card in the gallery, Brenda, I wondered where the 'beverage' was on your fish card... As soon as I popped over here, it was clear... and how darn clever to turn a wineglass into fish!! You've got me just smiling with that fun trio! LOVE the first card, too. Makes me crave a strawberry margarita! Very fun cards! Thanks for joining us at the Twofer Challenge! Bev

Look at you thinking out of the box again!!!! I love both of these cards Brenda, but to be honest, I didn't think you used the same stamp for both cards. I had to look very closely and then realize the fish was the drink glass! So clever!!!! Love the whole scene. Well done my friend! I didn't get anything made and yes, time is up as of tomorrow morning. Oh well maybe next month. These months are flying by and I'm not ready for August to come and go as that will mean the end of summer and I'm not ready for summer to end. It feels like it just began. Hugs, Brenda

Wow! great imagination, turning a glass into a fish. Love both the cards. That strawberry drink looks scrumptous. Going for a swim with the fishes might be the cooling off activity I need. But I hate when fish come up and nibble on my toes.
