I have a new addition to my crafting family. I am having pain in my wrists and elbows and am afraid carpal tunnel is sneaking up on me. In case I become incapacitated  and cannot turn the handle on my Big Shot, I purchased a Gemini Jr. on sale and she came to live with me Friday. I hope we have a long, happy relationship. Be kind to one another.

Sounds like a great investment...it does get hard to turn those handles at times even without carpal tunnel sneaking up on a person. Have fun with your new addition.

Oh YAY for you with this. I've seen Jennifer M. using this a lot. My hesitation comes from the fact that I had an electric Big shot (thanks to Mr. getting it for me after seeing in a show). I loved it, but it was not always easy to make sure I had the sandwich properly set up. With the manual you can 'feel' when it's a mite tight. With the EBS, it would start through ok, then jam. Finally something happened to the motor, and when I contacted Sizzix, they told me it was a known problem, and if I would send it, they would replace it with a new B.S. I was very grateful and mailed the bum one immediately. Also have the Vagabond, which I seldom use. I'll be eager to know your impression of this new companion. It should be a big help if you're having trouble with the manual stuff. It looks wonderful when I see Jennifer using it! Will chat in a bit via email. TFS & Hugs. Stay cool

Sounds wonderful Brenda! Anything to keep on crafting lol! I have a pained finger that I realized I use for everything, so it is crucial to pay attention to what our body is telling us. Cathy :) xx

I hope this will work well for you.

Hurrah! I have it, too, but have to do more organizing/purging before I allow myself to use it. Just gave it a try one day & think it's going to be great! Be sure you pass along any tips! Hugs, Greta

You will love it!! I have the bigger one, but I use my Sizzix Vagabond almost exclusively. It makes all the difference to have the automatic feed instead of cranking it. I was having pain in my elbow from cranking so much and now it's completely gone. I've gone through two Vagabonds, but I love them. I would use the Gemini exclusively but I have trouble finding the plates (I go through them so quickly). Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

You will love your Gemini Junior Brenda, I have the original one and it is brilliant - mine cuts anything. Just make sure you rotate the plates to stop them bending - I also store mine under the machine when it is not in use.

I'm so envious Brenda!!! I want one of these Gemini's myself and it is on my wish list. I know you will be very happy with it and so will your elbows, wrists and shoulders! Hugs, Brenda
