I got my windows washed yesterday and now I have to wear sunglasses in the house. When I look out the sun blinds me! What does that tell you about my housekeeping skills. When I look out the window and think "Oh my gosh, it is so foggy today" and it's not, I know it's time to clean the windows.

My son and daughter in law plant all kinds of things in pots. This year they tore down the swing, slide set my son built years ago for the grands and they plowed up the space and planted tomatoes and peppers. When I saw this stamp I knew I had to make them a card. It is an Impression Obsession stamp and I sponged DI on card stock and then went over the sentiment with inks too.  The mat is a Gina Marie die and I added a twine bow. Be kind to one another and enjoy the day.

I love it, Brenda. The lovely background and inking are gorgeous with the lovely sunny colours and the sentiment is spot on. Gardening is so therapeutic and I am growing LOTS of tomatoes this year.

Oh wow--this is just fabulous, Brenda! Love your sponged background & that sentiment is so perfect for all the gardeners! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't have veggies growing as next to us & across from us all have gardens. Me--I'd rather be making cards--haha!

What a fantastic card design with those wonderful colors and that cool sentiment. And, you used one of my favorite Gina Marie Design dies to show it off too. I just love those colors..they are perfect with this card.

Good for them for putting in a garden, and good for you for making them a card! Maybe they will share the bounty with you. That is a great sentiment and I love your inking that reminds me of sunshine at the top and tomatoes at the bottom!

My windows are in the same boat Brenda, probably worse as we have frogs clambering on some of them when the verandah light is on at night, lots of bugs and cobwebs too lol! The joys of living in the country.
I love your card, brilliant sentiment, adding this to my wishlist as I know a few gardeners who would love it too! Cathy x

Sounds like you might be in for some great fresh produce over the summer. This beautiful & beautifully appropriate card might go a long way in making sure some of that garden finds its way to your house. Love that you have the ombre effect of the sponged colors on the sentiment as you did it too. So happy you discovered Gina Marie dies. TFS & happy Sunday. Hugs
