Very cold wind now and freezing rain expected today so I'm in to craft. Darnell's second challenge starts today with hearts so I can't wait to get started.

This is one of my favorite pun cards I've made. It is for my youngest granddaughter (who just started driving Tuesday).  I made a pop tart using a Spellbinders die that I think is called deckle edge. I iced it with texture paste and while still wet I sprinkled on pink, gold and white frantage for sugar. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and the speech bubble is Lawn Fawn. The pattern paper is Stampin Up. I added some pink sequins with Nuvo gold drops in the center. Be kind to one another.

Super fun card, Brenda. Great idea for using the texture paste. It's cold and raining in UK also.

Now this is just clever as well as being pretty cute too! I have that die, and would never have 'seen it' as a tart base! Works great with the colored icing. I like the harlequin design on the background, but the kicker is that wonderfully apt sentiment. It's CAS but lots of style and detail. We have dreary rain, but don't think it's cold enough for ice (hopefully!) Hugs and keep warm & dry. TFS

OMGosh what a cute card Brenda!! You are so clever in the way you made your pop tart, it really looks like one too-the brown sugar and cinnamon one. lol Cute, cute, cute! I got my 2fer's done tonight and hope to post them tomorrow. Can't wait to see yours! Big hugs, Brenda

Super fun and cute card. Love your sentiment. We missed the freezing rain today, but it doesn't look like we are going to be as lucky for Sunday. I really hate ice. Stay in and craft, that's the safest thing to do.

Oh my goodness--you are just so creative, Brenda! Wonderful card for your granddaughter! Stay safe & warm! You could come out here--no snow or ice & lots of sun! Winter seems to have skipped us, except for cold night temps.

I missed this when I came by earlier and just saw it in my inbox. I couldn't let it go without letting you know how much I love it! I mean, I really LOVE it, Brenda, and so will your newly-licensed granddaughter! He might even try to EAT that brilliant tart!! Thank you so much for the shoutout, my friend! Hugs, Darnell xxoo
