You may not remember where you were 50 years ago today but I know where I was. Giving birth to my first child! He turns 50 today and it is hard to believe that time has gone so fast. He has a son out of college and a daughter that is a junior in college. Truthfully in my mind I don't seem to feel any different than I did when I had him but body wise I can tell there is a big difference.

This card today is one I made for the salt challenge with Loll and Bonnie but I didn't get it ready in time to enter. I was going to try again but I ran out of time. I don't think I used enough salt but it did take some of the color out. The background was done in blues and one piece in yellow and oranges that I used for leaves. I made it for my friend with bile duct cancer. One hospital told him they couldn't do anything, then he was transferred to another hospital and they are removing the diseased part and the liver will regenerate. Amazing what the human body can do to heal itself. I cut the leaves with Lawn Fawn dies and used the Memory Box Grove Branch die. The sentiment is also Lawn Fawn.  It is a guy card so I didn't add bling. Be kind to one another and keep the people in the way of Harvey in your thoughts and prayers.

Love the branch with the "hang in there" sediment, Brenda! I think the little bit of salt you used did add a lot of interest to the pretty background and I love the sweet leaves! Your friend will be cheered by your card. I wish him all the best! Hugs, Darnell
