We have sunshine today and it is wonderful. Still chilly but the sun makes such a difference in my mood. You cannot frown when the sun is out. I think that is a law.

Yesterday my SIL and I went to Nashville to pick up a stamp she ordered that was in. Both stamp stores were closed so we had a nice lunch and came home. Molly was at the vet getting the "works" for the year. She's still a little groggy.  They said her liver enzymes are high and wanted to know if she is drinking or wetting more than normal. She is not but I have to watch her. They are worried about Cushings Disease.

Today's card is for my SU demos birthday next month. This is an older 2003 SU stamp from the Scented Garden set, white emobssed and sponged with Distress Oxide broken china. I used an Avery Elle oval to cut the front panel out and added a few sequins. The sentiment is from an SU set called Express Yourself. I am very excited about using my older supplies and stamps. I don't think it will keep me from ordering new things but at least I am using what I have! A good mix of  an old stamp and new ink for this card. Be kind to one another.

Oh dear! another mention of those oxide inks. I so must get myself some. Lol. I love your flower in white against the blue. It was sunny here yesterday and warm. I even went into town on the bus in just a jumper and skirt and didn't need a jacket over the top. Most pleasant. Today has been cold and dull. I had intended to work out in the garden but stayed indoors instead. Can't say really what I have been up to. Time just seems to melt through the walls. Hugs Mrs A.

Absolutely gorgeous card, Brenda! I'm jealous you have some of the new Oxide inks--not letting myself get them--at least not this year! Wish I was there to go along with you on outings like that--sounds like fun!

Such a pretty card Brenda. So far I've resisted the oxide inks! We had lovely weather all weekend right up to yesterday, but today it's been dull and a bit damp. Hope it turns nice again as I should have cut the grass before it gets too long.

This is gorgeous, Brenda! Thank you for the update which I just saw. I was going to ask you about the new inks. Like what we all need is a whole bunch of new inks! Gah! But honestly, I've never found the DIs easy to work with and thought it was just me. Now if you say these new ones are smooth and you love them, well, you've sold me! Good work on continuing to use so much of your schtuffs!! I hope Molly is okay! Let's chat next week! Love and hugs, Darnell

This is so pretty Brenda, love the blue and the embossed flower really pops. I've just received the oxide inks and am having a play! Haven't blended yet as I'm mucking around with lots of water!! Hope Molly is ok too, Cathy x

I agree Brenda, when the sun is out, I am much more happier. The sun just so much of a difference in one's mood!! Poor Molly, my Pocket's girl went started off that way with the liver enzymes. She was having issues with potting more than normal, but she also had the diabetes. Which is what we think contributed to the liver enzymes. Watch Molly well and not any changes in her drinking having to potty a lot. It kinda sneaks up fast. What a beautiful card Brenda! I love the oxide distress inks and so want them, so they are on my wish list for sometime down the road. I love the beautiful blend you got on your background and I am loving that beautiful stamp you used. Yes, it is a good blend of old and new!! I think we all will want new things as they keep coming out with such great stamps, how can we help it?!! lol Hugs, Brenda
