Oh my did we have wicked storms roll through Monday night - Tuesday morning. Lots of wind and rain, thunder and lightning. We are fortunate that there was not too much damage. My heart goes out to all those who had tornadoes and flooding.

My card today is an Easter card made with a really old 2001 SU stamp and colored with Copics. I used two strips of paper and a Lawn Fawn grass die and a DeNami  Design sentiment. I am entering this is http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/ Clean and Simple. I really like the look of clean. It really makes the focus stand out. I am so late in getting this in the challenge, but still in time. Be kind to one another.

Love this CAS. I really like the way you've done the grassy border and tucked that colorful basket over the border as you did. It's a wonderful layout, and lovely Easter card. Glad you didn't have any problems with the storm too. TFS & Hugs

Oh my, Brenda, Easter cards? I'm not ready to tackle another holiday yet, lol, but your card is very pretty, beautifully colored, and perfect for the LIM sketch! I'm glad you weren't damaged by those freaky storms! It must have been a shock after all the nice "non-winter" weather you've been having. Stay safe! Lots of love and hugs, Darnell

Beautifully colored & wonderfully CAS, Brenda! I wish I had that DeNami sentiment--just love it! Glad you didn't have damage! The biggest lightening storm I've ever been in was in Indy when I spent a summer with my grandmother 40 years ago--will never forget it! Woke me up & I sat in the middle of the house seeing lightening from the front & back doors at the same time!

You're so far ahead of me! Easter! I'm impressed. Sounds like you've had some awful weather - we've had some rain in the Midlands, UK, but nothing like what you're describing. Glad you're ok. Lovely card, such a pretty basket and using grass as the lines of the sketch looks fab! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

Gosh is it Easter card making already. I completely forgot about pancake day and The Doc was most put out when he realised. Can't seem to stay focussed right now on anything. Love the simplicity of your CAS card. hugs Mrs A.
