Busy week coming up. My husband's aunt passed away and we will be making  plans to see who from the family goes to TN for the funeral. My son wants to make the trip in one day and I can't do that and he can't leave on Friday so I may not go. Two doctor appts. this week for yearly checks and Molly needs her nails cut. It's still really cold - only 20 degrees right now.

This card is black SU cardstock, the arrow is Lil'Inkers, the the XOXO stamp is a really old one from Michaels by Craft Smart. I think the red heart paper is one I bought in a craft store in just one sheet.  I don't know where the paper doily came from. I embossed the XOXO in WOW silver pearl. I wish I had used white e/p as it isn't real bright. I do like the card so it's okay. Be kind to one another.

I like it too, Brenda! Great idea to use the doily, makes a lovely background for the heart and looks great on the black.

Oh I like this one. The doily looks brilliant against that black background. Love the heart & arrow, and the sparkle of the silver embossing. HOpe you can manage to stay warm while you're out running your errands. It's frosty here as well, but not so cold as where you are! Hugs & TFS

So sorry you have another sadness in your family, Brenda. We're done with the 20s, but I sure know what it feels like after this cold winter. Beautiful Valentine card--love the doily!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Yes that was your card (you sent me)and I cased it....passed it on it's way to Heartland Hospice to cheer up a person with cancer. Your card made the rounds. We never know where our cards may end up.

Oh Brenda, that's a long trip to go in one day. I hate for you to miss going but at the same time I understand your point of view! Your card is beautiful! I love that doily, it looks like it is crochet to me. I tried embossing silver on navy blue thinking it would stand out nice and pretty but it didn't. I wonder why these silver embossing powders don't stand out on dark papers? Was a let down to me too, but I still used it anyway too. Hugs, Brenda
