Turns out the snow was not the big issue. Last night we had freezing rain and cars were stranded on the interstate for nine hours because they could not move. Now it is raining and the temps are up a little bit but more freezing rain is expected tonight. We have four Indiana Big Ten basketball teams playing downtown at the fieldhouse this afternoon and people are going to be out in this weather so I hope everyone is safe. I doubt anyone will stay home since IN is such a huge basketball state and we take it very seriously.

This is a card I made for my two besties. One dressed in red and one in green. It is a My Favorite Things stamp and sentiment and I had to have it. The tree is a Sizzix die with Snow Tex applied. My friend Colleen, http://onesmileliftsaspirit.blogspot.com/, made a card with Distress Grit Paste that is like this. Be kind to one another and patient if you are out shopping.

These are sooooo cute. love them in both colourways. Having an easy day today after my enforced visit to the dentist yesterday. Didn't hurt whilst he was doing the treatment but my lower jaw is aching today. The dentist said that so long as my bite is not stronger than the resin then the inlay won't fly off!!!!
The weather is mild here today but that is not our problem right now but national strikes. The British airways are on strike so stranding peeps from flying off for christmas, the post office are going on strike and the railways are out on strike due to a dispute as to who blows the whistle to say the train is safe to leave the train station. The Guard or the train driver!!!!! I'm sorry to admit to being british. hugs Mrs A.

These are so absolutely adorable!! The elves are so cute!! I love the snow!! What beautiful cards my friend!! Your besties will adore them!!

Such crazy weather!! It's a bit warmer here today so any of the dusting of snow on the ground has melted. It's raining and foggy and the temps are supposed to drop overnight, so the roads will be treacherous. I so wish I could be at the fieldhouse to cheer on my Alma Mater today (IU)!! I'll just have to do it from the coziness of my living room ;) Have a great weekend!! Big hugs :)

OMG I am missing for a few days and you have not only had snow and ice, but Christmas cards too! and your sweet little Molly is so cute guarding your stash!! Love your card, those elves are very fun to color up, aren't they? We got snow too...a few inches here in my neck of the woods! School was canceled last Thursday and Friday, so the kiddos all got an early Christmas vacation! the snow is still around as we have had freezing temps in the 20's! Warming up to the 40's on Monday and quite a bit of rain is suppose to come through...sure loved that white stuff and it just makes Christmas feel special when there is snow on the ground! Be safe my friend and have a most wonderful day with your family! Heart Hugs, col

Love both of these cards. I had to buy those cute little elves too! We've stayed home this weekend and out of the freezing stuff. I really don't like ice! Lots to do this week getting ready for next weekend. Have a wonderful holiday and be safe. Hugs!
