Today is a very special day! I am having lunch with Greta http://ggnursecreations.blogspot.com/ and I can't wait. I have recovered from my vicious attack and went to a craft garage sale at a stamp store here in town. Oh my, so many things for sale at such reasonable prices. I only spent $7 and got a few things I needed! Also tailgated with the family before the football game at my granddaughters college. Lots of good food and so much fun.

This card was not so successful. I can't get the hang of making flower soft stick. I had this idea in my head about falling leaves. So I mixed about five colors of flower soft to look fall ish, made the scene (Darnell was right, I do have a few more scenes in me) and glued it on. It looks okay but if you pick up the card the stuff falls off. I have the glue that comes with it but I just can't make it work. I'm afraid if I mailed the card it would come out of the envelope bare and all the flower soft would be inside the envelope! Oh well, you don't know unless you try. The cats are an Impression Obession die and the tree is Memory Box. Be kind to one another.

Brilliant scene there Brenda! I can't get on with Flower Soft at all - same as I can't manage that puffy snow stuff you heat up (mine always goes like a toasted marshmallow!), I do hope, in fact am totally SURE, you had a fabulous time with Greta!!

Hugs

That is simply adorable, Brenda, and another great scene! Of course, I have some flower soft and the glue, but it's NBUS, so I'm not any help. Did you try using Elmer's or other craft glue that dries clear? It's a shame because you got the color just right.

I can just imagine that you and Greta got on like you'd known each other for ages; that's what happened when she and I met. I wish I could have been there, but Montana is pretty nice, too! Can't wait to hear all about it! Love and hugs, Darnell

This is such a pretty autumn scene! Love the kitties and the fallen leaves! Sometimes that flowersoft does not cooperate!

Such a cute card, Brenda! No idea how to get that stuff to stick as it's one of the few things I haven't bought!
