Lots of sunshine today and the snow is melting. Maybe spring will come soon. I feel much better and thank you all for you well wishes. I haven't had a cold in a long time and I know where I got it. When I went to get my glasses, the tech said she was sorry she had a cough drop in her mouth but she had a cold and sore throat. Duh! She is on one side of the lens and I'm on the other. No surprise there. Anyway, I have an ear infection and sinus so I have an antibotic and feeling much more like myself.

My sister in law and I went to the Heirloom show on Saturday. I had a list and got most of the things I was looking for. Got three embossing folders, two dies, one ink pad (the new abandoned coral) distress ink), three stencils, one little rubber stamp and some inka gold in six colors. Also made a pendant in a make and take. There weren't very many booths and I'm surprised they still have it here but it was well attended. Everyone in front of me in line spent at least $75 and one lady spent $143. Oh my! Almost everything I got was under $10 and most under $5.

I was going to make a St. Patrick's Day card for my grandson today and send him some money to spend on Spring Break. I got hubby showered and myself, made a Hummingbird cake, am cooking chicken for Tetrazzini for dinner, fixed lunch and have my third load of laundry in and one more to go. I am tired! This old body can only do so much per day! The cake I really wanted to make so that's my fault. Hubby slept until 9:00 am and that threw my whole day off. It was noon by the time we had both showered. It takes an hour to shower, shave and dress him.

This card is one we made at stamp class. Very self explanatory and easy to do. I don't do much in pink so I do like this card. Be kind to one another.

This is such a pretty card Brenda, I love the pinks. Glad to hear you are recovering, attending craft shows and buying goodies is what I'd prescribe! Hummingbird cake is one of my fave recipes too! Hope you can rest up now and enjoy playing with your new toys, Cathy x

I'm glad that you got to the stamp show Brenda, it sounds like so much fun! Sounds like you got some great goodies for the money too. We all love a great deal or spend wisely to get the most for our money. I'm also glad you are feeling more like yourself again. This is why employers should encourage people to stay home from work when they are contagious! You made me tired reading all you got done yesterday Brenda!! Yes, I can image by the time you get your own shower, hubby's shower, shave and dressed you are exhausted and half the day is gone. It doesn't take much to through us off our schedule either, or at least it me! You are a trooper Brenda, and I'm in awe of you! This card is just beautiful. I got this stamp set but haven't played with it yet. I so love it though. I am a pink kind of girl so I am really love the pink but it is the whole scene that I am loving. Great card! Hugs, Brenda

Those shows are always fun to go....but I tend to spend way too much too. Then months later forget what I bought that project for. Yeah...caring for a husband sure can take a lot of time. Your husband is blessed to have you.

Very pretty card...I have seen that tree. Can hardly wait to see what all you picked up at the show.

Pink is my favorite color & I love the look of this card, Brenda! Glad you were able to enjoy the Heirloom show & sounds like you did great shopping even with not many booths. That's why I haven't gone for a long time--most of the companies I like stopped doing it.
