I'm on a new schedule and my blogging visits are suffering. I found I wasn't being productive around the house and this is definitely the time of year to be productive. I love to read the blogs as I have my morning coffee. BUT I was running over into lunch! So now I can check email and read a few blogs and when the coffee is done, so am I. At least until laundry and housework is done and anything else that is on the to do list. I've actually started some Christmas shopping and my cards are done. We had two doctor appt. last week and they called Fri. and my glasses are in. I go Monday to pick them up and lunch with a girlfriend I used to work with. I am hoping that is it for the doctors. We have had 20 doctor appt. since Oct. 7th. We hardly had any all year long. I don't really care for condensing them into two months though. Before I jump into Christmas I want to share three cards we received for Thanksgiving from online friends. They are too gorgeous not to share. Be kind to one another.

  1. Hi Brenda, these cards would have been a lovely treat to receive in the mail! I too am guilty of getting sidetracked on the computer, when it's fast enough to open any pages LOL! Hope your new glasses improve things for you, Cathy x

  4. Wonderful cards--so great to have cardmaking friends! I so understand too much time on the computer--need to keep better track of my time, too.

  5. I know what you mean Brenda, I have had to cut down on my "sitting" and blog hoping too! I would sit here for hours and this is not the time to do that. After Christmas when the holidays have settled I will be back to sitting here, but not before my house work is done. lol I used to be so productive with a family of 8, but that was before high speed internet!! I wouldn't waste my time with dial up, to much to do with a large family. But now it is just me and hubby and occasionally the youngest is home, so I tend to be lazier. But I blame it on blogs and the internet and computers. lol Your cards that were sent to you are gorgeous Brenda. I hope too you are done with doctor's appointments for a while! And no, I don't like them all stuff into a few months either. No decorations up here and I haven't gotten my cards addressed and ready to go either! Yes, I've been bad, so need to get on that asap. I hope your glasses help you to be able to read Brenda. Hugs, Brenda

  8. Good luck with the new specs. I hear you about the condensed dr visits. We were running errands this afternoon, got more on Wed & Thurs to get the pkup serviced for a trip to Fla. Glad things are going ok for you, and yes, necessities of life do get in the way of our blog hobby, don't they? Just got to stay disciplined. (You heard me say that, right? Do as I say, not as I DO myself! :-) TFS & hugs

  9. No, I have not seen the WVerification here. Glad you didn't get aggravated with it. Many of us have...If you run across on blogs where you didn't see before, just publish your comment, and ignore WF. I think all the comments are going through anyway. Hugs
