Okay I was a little mislead. The polar vortex isn't coming until tonight. I kept hearing about it on the weather and when I went out the other morning it was cold, so I thought that was it. It turned out Sunday and Monday were beautiful out. Today is nice too. So I have been doing all my running errands and cleaning up the yard since it is so nice out. We have one Dr. appt. tomorrow afternoon and then I hope we are finished for a while.

This is a card I think came from stamp camp last year and I didn't use. It uses older paper from Stampin Up and has gold cord around it and a leaf punched out. Be kind to one another.

  4. So pretty. Love the papers & the colors together. The simplicity of the design let those gorgeous fall colors take center stage. We have 80F here today, but are being told the cold is coming. Don't know if it's the Vortex or not...we keep hearing about it! Stay warm, glad you are getting your chores done. Isn't it great to get those dr visits finished up! TFS & Hugs

  6. I like the printed paper used for the leaf & background--lovely card, Brenda! Stay warm--it's windy & cold here, but not as bad as for you guys. Puppy sure doesn't want to stay out very long--glad we have a fleece jacket for him.

  8. Pretty card Brenda, love the patterned paper. Hope you are safe and warm, we had 45 celsius here yesterday and it's going to be similar today, it's not usually quite so hot in November! Cathy x

  9. Love this card Brenda, the paper is fabulous! I love the leaf cut out in that paper. Such a fun and pretty card! I did the same thing Brenda, before the polar vortex came it was really nice out so I got out and mowed hopefully for the last time to tidy up the lawn. Now the PV is here and I'm staying snuggled down. We even had snow, but it didn't lay because the ground was just to warm. And today it is warm enough for it to be just rain. Thanking God for small favors! lol Hugs, Brenda
