It snowed last night and has been snowing just lightly today. I mistakenly thought spring was here but what do I know. Cleaning the garage is on hold for now. Awww.  I do have to get busy and clean the house. I have two doctor's appt. this week Wed. and  Thurs. so that doesn't leave a lot of time since we will need a grocery trip as well.  Today's card is something I started at my friend's new store as a make and take and I put it on a card and added a sentiment and bow. It has a post it pad inside. Be kind to one another.

I will try to post this on the http://casology.blogspot.com/.

This is so adorable, Brenda! I just love that sweet googly-eyed carrot. Too cute!

My sister in Cincinnati sent photos of the snow they had on the ground this a.m. Yuck! I hope that evil snow isn't headed our way ;)

Snow? What is with that? Cute card though...at least it keeps you inside and able to play...unless of course you have to clean house! *wink

They thought we would get snow, but we didn't thank goodness! lol We did however get sleet and hail, but it didn't last long either and the ground was to warm for it to lay. I too, thought spring was here when our temps went up to the 80's last weekend, but it was just mother nature being cruel to us. lol We will get there one day...perhaps. Makes me wonder if this is how the whole summer will go too. Humm...not ready for that if that is the case! I have to say Brenda, I love, love this cute card/note pad holder! That carrot is too cute, I love the fun googly eyes and I love how you have colored it. So cool the way it opens and surprise, a little note pad!! Fabulous! Hope your doctor appointments goes well Brenda and I hope you have a wonderful Blessed Easter!! Hugs

Boo & bummer on the snow! I'm glad we just got the lowered temps. Your card is simply adorable. Hooray for you that you have a new store to enjoy. It looks like you're off to a great start of much fun there, with this cute card. Hope all the dr. appts. went fine for you, and that you're on target with the Easter prep for your family's visit. Have fun. Hugs & TFS

Hi Brenda! I found you via the lovely Mary H (what a star she is!). Love your blog and the cards you make.

We'd love you to come and join us in the Snippets Playground, but I suspect you don't really do challenges. The Playground is just good fun with no strict rules though. Come and play if you can! Mary will show you where to hang your shoe bag and coat :)

Hi Brenda - just found your questions about snippets. A snippet can be card, paper, lace, ribbon, cord, twine, fabric - you name it! It just ought to be a piece of something you've squirrelled away rather than pop it in the waste basket (I think we all do that for sure!). And you don't need to say or show what you'd saved the snippet from - we just like to see what you make with what you'd kept - so you only link that post into the Playground. I know, it's all very much on trust but the 'snippet police' won't came calling to check!

If you get stuck with linking let me know (just leave a comment, you can't break Mr Linky but he can sometimes take some getting used to) and I'm always very happy to sort it out. There are no themes, just to use one or more snippets and a maximum of three entries in one week. If you call by tomorrow (after midnight UK time tonight so it might be before you go to bed in fact) you'll see my own snippets card for this week (I almost always do cards as that's my first love). I found some scraps of patterned paper and did some paper piecing - but then I also used a whole sheet of the same paper for the background. That's fine though. And of course there's a little prize each week to be won. It's just for fun so I hope you come and play - the girls are very friendly and will come and visit your blog - so make sure you have cupcakes ready for them :)

Happy Easter!

Hugs
