My SIL and I got to make a little trip Friday to Nashville, IN. Two of the three brick and mortar stamp stores left are there and right across the way from each other. Papertrix is one of the stores and the only place I have ever seen DeNami stamps carried. Then across the alley to Wishful Thinking and I picked up some paper and distress embossing powder. Also got a new stencil from each store. We had lunch at a new tearoom and came home. I wasn't gone very long and it was such a beautiful day. That's two days out in a week and what a good thing that was. I generally don't go to often but I find I am so much calmer when I get out. Not just to the grocery, bank or hair cut but to do something I love. Hubby was fine. Maybe it's me that feels so guilty.  He can still be left alone for a while. I feel bad because he can't work the DVD player. I put in a disc and he just watches it over and over all day if I'm not here. He says he doesn't mind, but I feel like I should be here to change it for him.

I'm sharing a picture of my new products from Nashville. Be kind to one another.

That is so awesome that you and a friend got out some Brenda! And you got some really nice stamps and other stuff. I am loving that doily looking thing. Is that the stencil? Looks like you got some sequins too, love them. It is good for us to get out some here and there Brenda, but I also know of the guilt you speak of. I do the same thing. But once in a while is a good thing and hubby will survive until you get back. Hugs

So happy you were able to get out & have a little fun, Brenda. That's very important for a caregiver, and will become even more so in future. I understand that you worry while you're away though. As long as DH is safe alone, that's the main thing. I'm certain it did you good and you sure got some good haul! That dog set is precious. Loved seeing the other goodies too. Way to go, and then a nice lunch too. Just what you needed. TFS & Hugs

Well, look who has been so productive!! I have just enjoyed a saunter back through all the delightful posts that I've missed until I'm back where I was! You are doing a wonderful job on the class, Brenda, well except for maybe the heat embossing. I absolutely loved the one in the post with the Graph 45 paper (I think that was the name). I like that card, but the I really liked was the one you made the background with the geometric shapes and soft colors - loved it!!

I'm sorry I don't have time to comment on each post - wish I did! Suffice to say, I'm happy to see you getting creative and posting so often. BTW, I agree with you about the Amazing Race!

I can't believe you had to take your puter back to the shop again. Enough is right!!

Happy St. Paddy's Day and have a great week! Hugs, Darnell
