In a quest to get going again, I cased a card I made and loved a long time ago. I made variations of it and enjoyed it so much. I used an embossing folder with silver cardstock. I used leaves from two different companies and a milk can on one. I was so happy to be doing it.
I like the idea of keeping your mouth shut but it's not for me.
These are some of my favorite leaves and I love that milk can and the embossed silver backgrounds! I'm so glad you are feeling like making cards again, my friend!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see your makes, the embossed silver really stands out, great cards xxx

ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful and elegant with the metallic cardstock and diecut leaves.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! I love the silver embossed background. The milk can brings back memories - I used to have one filled with branches of pampas grass on my landing!!
ReplyDeleteSorry, Brenda, somehow I missed (or let's be honest, I forgot) that you had blogged the cards you CASEd of your designs. I LOVE them! I can imagine how shiny they are in person and I love how the larger panel looks like the old gorgeous tin ceiling tiles. Thank you for the inspiration to try this! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful cards! I'm still enjoying the one on display across from my chair--thank you again, dear friend!
