On a recent zoom our group made cards from foil or mirror cardstock embossed with embossing folders or 3D embossing folders. I used some of both for the following cards. Hope you try it, it is addicting. The second card used the inverted embossing side and my last card is a bright green that didn't photograph well. On the red card I sanded a bit of color off the poinsettia.
I love all of them. They are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThey are all very pretty. I just purchased a pack of metallic paper. I will have to try embossing on them.
ReplyDeleteI love dry embossing & I love metallics, but don't think I've ever used them together. Love seeing all your examples, Brenda! The debossed side looks fabulous, too! I got very inexpensive gold & silver cardstock at Michaels, so I have plenty to play with. Thanks for the inspiration, my friend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Brenda. It really IS addicting! :) xx
ReplyDeleteIsn't this a fun technique and so addictive! Wow! You have six beautiful cards, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThey are all gorgeous, Brenda! It's cool how you got a nice deep embossing on that first cardm too, even though it is not 3D. That Bonnie, man, she made me go buy a whole bunch of new 3D folders and now you, man, you are going to make me run off a coupla thirtyteen new card fronts using my regular e/fs and metallic paper! Oh, well, what else do I gotta do during a damnepic?! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteI’ve used metallics with dry embossing just a couple times, but it’s been awhile. You made several cards with beautiful results! I can see how it can be addicting! All unique lovely cards! Thank.you for the inspiration, Brenda!!
ReplyDeleteI am really loving the look you Zoom ladies are getting with your foil embossing Brenda! These cards are gorgeous! I especially love it when it is sanded a bit. But love it just plain too because it looks so elegant looking, high end. Great job on all of these Brenda! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteA super collection of cards Brenda, it looks like you had great fun.

These are all stunning cards, and I'd be hard-pressed to choose a favorite. Sorry I've been missing all your posts lately, but I'll try to do better in the future!
