During a zoom play I was able to make this card using an
Eileen Godwin technique. I used gesso through a stencil, added some soft color with a blending brush and then stamped a Lavinia stamp over it when it dried. The hardest part is waiting for the gesso to dry so you can stamp and finish the card.
This is so pretty Brenda! x

ReplyDeleteIt was worth waiting for because it turned out quite lovely! Very pretty birthday card!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Brenda! While you've got texture and dimension, it's still a perfectly CAS card. I'm loving this one! Stay safe my friend. xo Bev
ReplyDeleteLove this. I do things in evening and then leave overnightotherwise too tempting to just give it a pat to see if dry or not. On tenderthooks here waiting to find if your parcel has arrived. Yours is the last one now. Hugs Mrs A .
ReplyDeleteYour background came out perfectly, Brenda! I love how the inks bring out the gesso design! Love these colors!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Love the background colors.
ReplyDeleteYou achieved a beautiful result with this technique, Brenda! You can really see the dementia of the gessoed bit and I love your blended coloring! The silhouette is perfect with it! I hope you won't be getting any of that wild storm that hit Denver! Hugs, Darnell
