Happy Labor Day

I hope everyone that celebrates Labor Day is having a nice holiday today. Our weather is all sunshine  but a little hot at 91 degrees. I have never had good luck coloring on stamps before but the challenge at https://casmixup.blogspot.com/ is doing that. Okay, I've been trying all sorts of things new to me so why not try this again. It did take me two tries but I like the second result. I used Zig watercolor brush markers in two shades of pink and two shades of green to ink up this 2007 Penny Black wood mounted stamp called Windflower. My daughter in law picked it out for me to make their wedding invitations with. This is only it's second outing. The frame is Gina Marie and the sentiment is Stampin Up. I colored on the stamp, die cut a frame and stamped the greeting so I am entering it in the

Be kind to one another.

  16. It's a good thing you decided to try it again because this is beautiful! The pinks and greens are the perfect shades and go together so well. I love the edging detail on the die cut too. I know I attempted that technique years ago, but with better markers and a MISTI, I just might have another go at it.
