What a weather day we had here yesterday. Wind, the hardest rain I've ever seen and tornado warnings across the state with a few touchdowns. Thankfully we only had the wind and rain but that was enough. No injuries in the touchdowns. My heart goes out to the people of the Texas church shooting.

I wanted to enter a card for the http://inspiredbyallthelittlethings.blogspot.com/ challenge today. My friend Colleen of http://onesmileliftsaspirit.blogspot.com/ is the guest designer picked by Darnell so I couldn't wait to play. I love the colors of black, white and red. I used Memory Box dies Classic Staircase and Star of Wonder. The sentiment is Lawn Fawn and the stockings are from a monthly kit, Scrapping For Less. I added WOS to the red star for a bit of shine.  Be kind to one another.

Here is the inspiration picture - and here is my card.

WOW, what a darling card, Brenda! I love all the elements you picked from the photo to inspire you and how you hung your sweet stocking on the stairs! I'm sorry to hear about your weather. With the horrific shooting, there wasn't anything about weather on the news. I'm glad you didn't have any damage and I hope things are calmer today! Thank you so much for playing in the Inspired By challenge!! Hugs, Darnell

I love the little stockings on the bannisters. They look so cute, bright and cheerful. The church massacre is just another horrible example of the terrible times we live in now. A bad thing to happen at any time but unthinkable to be in a church of worship. Hope you are safe and wrapped up warm with the weather. It has turned bitterly cold here in the UK and we are due lots of horrid rain tomorrow. Hugs Mrs A.
