My heart goes out to the people in the south who have been impacted by the tornadoes yesterday and today. They are still marching along, so I hope everyone will listen and take cover.

I want to thank all my friends online. You always make me feel better and not alone in my aging process! You know, it is not anything life threatening, just little annoyances that mess up your day. I am blessed that I have been so well all these years.

I finished the card for my granddaughter's birthday. It is simple and I know she will like it for that reason. I don't know what that text says but she probably will. One of the things she is considering
is language translation and is good at it. She had her first college visit last Wednesday. She really hasn't been interested in doing that until now and doesn't want to go very far away. Be kind to one another.

I'm finally not in trouble anymore but I sure started the day that way! I bought a My Favorite Things die of the Eiffel Tower to make my granddaughter a birthday card with it. Also found some cute charms by 7 Gypsies with an Eiffel Tower and Paris. She is into that right now and I thought that she would love a card like that. However - since they were all coming Easter and they seem to congregate in my craft room and look to see what's new, I thought I'd better hide those new purchases so she wouldn't find them. I did an excellent job of putting them away. It is now 11 o'clock and I just now found them!! Truly, I had no idea where I put them. After going on about my body being on the downslope the other day I'm now concerned about my brain! That was scary. I knew I put them in the closet but I stood there looking and had no sense of where. It is raining and chilly here today so a perfect day to make that card before I forget what I was going to do with the die!

This card today was made just playing with gelato pens. Smeared them on and spritzed with water and stamped butterfly. This was done at the Heirloom show as a make and take. Simple. I do plan to try some more intricate things with them. I'd better leave them on my desk, just in case! Be kind to one another.

I think I have recovered from Easter. I tried to do too much in a short period of time as far as cleaning. I love spring cleaning - well, maybe love is to strong a word for cleaning -  let's change that to detest, but it needs to be done. Since the family was coming I decided to really do things that hadn't been done over the winter.  None of it was hard, it was just too much with getting ready for Easter. Unfortunately I didn't know that until after the fact. Today and Monday I haven't done anything but veg and watch tv and read.

I am coming to the realization that I am not as young as I used to be. I can't shop all day like I used to. I can't clean the whole house in one day. I can't walk all day like I used to. It really is strange. My mind doesn't feel like it has changed at all but my body isn't co-operating. I can still do, just not as fast and not as long! It always surprises me.

My card today was quick and easy. The background was randomly stamped with Everything Eleanor and a script. Then just stamped the greeting and punched it out and added to another punch. Added ribbon and mounted the greeting.  Be kind to one another.

I just want to wish you all a happy Easter tomorrow. It was such a gorgeous day here and I got so much done. Finished cleaning and got to wash most of the windows.  I have almost all of the food ready for tomorrow. I am tired however and can't wait for bedtime! Todays card was made in my stamping workshop and I didn't put a sentiment on it yet. I think it could be used for any occasion. Be kind to one another.

It snowed last night and has been snowing just lightly today. I mistakenly thought spring was here but what do I know. Cleaning the garage is on hold for now. Awww.  I do have to get busy and clean the house. I have two doctor's appt. this week Wed. and  Thurs. so that doesn't leave a lot of time since we will need a grocery trip as well.  Today's card is something I started at my friend's new store as a make and take and I put it on a card and added a sentiment and bow. It has a post it pad inside. Be kind to one another.

I will try to post this on the http://casology.blogspot.com/.

I'm finishing up the Easter cards for grandkids. The family will be here Sunday and I want to be ready. I have Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas eve and our sons birthdays. The kids have mother's day, fathers day, our birthdays and their kids birthdays. I love it and will do it as long as I can. I love that they come to mom and dad's and that's our tradition. When the grandkids were younger I made clues for them to find their eggs. Now that they're older they still want to do that! So I've got to get busy this week and make up some.

I'm anxious to see what the card will look like that I post today. Everytime I take a picture it is upside down or sideways. I have to take it over and over. When I download I turn it, but when I look at the pictures they look right in the computer but post sideways. I don't know why they have suddenly started doing that.

This is a card I learned from France Martin. She had a video on it and I thought it was a cute card for my granddaughter. Be kind to one another.

Whoo Hoo, right side up!
I will try to enter this in the http://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.com/ challenge.

This is our fourth day of warm temps and sunshine I've been out and about for short little trips and I feel great. Isn't it wonderful what a little sun can do! Today I'm sharing a card I made for my stampin up gal. It's a birthday card (which you can't tell from the front). I think I've seen a card like this before but I'm not sure and I don't know where. If it's yours, please let me know so I can give you credit. Be kind to one another.

I was right, I cannot do housework! Of course, I didn't try.  Really I can use my fingers and I am going to unwrap my hand this morning and shower so I think I'm on the mend. Today I'm on the run for several different things. I need to find elastic waist pants for hubby. I don't know if they make them or not but he can't handle the belt and can't unbutton and unzip his jeans so I need them. Also, I'm going to Michaels to find a craft knife. I've never been able to use one. I'm kind of afraid of them. I'm looking for the tonic one so I hope they have it. Also, it must be time for a bone density test. Dr. ordered it so I'm off to do that. Then grocery store and that's it for the day.  Since I wasn't doing anything around the house I was able to make on of those pop up boxes I've seen online. I made it with eggs for Easter and put a heart in front for my granddaughter. I was surprised  that it was easier than I thought it would be. I'm off to start the day. Be kind to one another.

Whew, what a week. It was grandkids spring break and a lot going on. Monday and Tuesday I was running and getting things done here. Wednesday I had our younger grandson. We went to a fun place where he could bowl, drive go carts inside and outside and play all those games where you win tickets and cash them in for prizes. Thursday I had younger granddaughter. I thought she and I would craft but there was no time. By the time we went to Target and the library it was time for dinner. I could tell she was tired so we started our movie at 7 and were in bed by 10. She had gone with our older son and his family to a cabin south of here and zip lined and went horseback riding. They were up late every night watching movies and baking. Both of our granddaughters like to cook and bake. We had a great time even though it was short. This morning as I was rounding the corner out of the kitchen to let Molly out I ran full tilt into the corner of the buffet. It took a good sized chunk out of the top of my hand! It is now cleaned and medicated. I am washing what dishes don't go in the dishwasher by my left hand. I can tell now that it will be too painful to run the vacuum or dust and possibly too painful to carry laundry to the washer!! I think I can make a card though no matter how much it hurts. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Be kind to one another.
