I can't believe this, but I just got my computer back from the shop!!! I called Staples, where I bought it, to ask some more questions. It just so happened that Ben answered the phone and after we talked, he said bring it in. He couldn't even get it to connect to the internet while I was there. He called the manager over and said he wanted to save my information on a disc and completely overhaul it at no cost to me. Apparently they only do that after 15 days.  He knew I have called Comcast and them over and over again because of so many problems. I picked it up last night. It felt like my right arm was missing from Thursday morning to Friday night! I did finish a book I was reading and watched two programs I'd DVR'ed. So I found that one can live without a computer. I just don't want to. Turns out some program in its innards was not right. It was an internal thing and not something I had done to it. This morning as I was trying to catch up on some blogs Internet Explorer could not display the page on several blogs. I think that must be an Internet Explorer problem because if I go back later it comes up. It does that when I try to comment too.

We are going to basketball game for grandson today. Only three games left in the season and that's if they win today. It is suppose to rain a bit and that should get rid of the remaining snow. It was in the 50's yesterday and the sun was out. So gorgeous.

Todays card is just a quick little card. I am trying to just make some cards to have here. This would be a great "friend" card. I have signed up to take the CAS online card class that starts Monday. Hopefully I can adjust to that kind of card. I'm used to layering so these cards will seem "naked" to me but the ones I see other people make are so pretty. It's nice to get out of your comfort zone and I'm trying to branch out.  Have a wonderful weekend and be kind to one another.

Yeah, Brenda, so glad your computer is back home and almost working perfectly!! Don't you feel good when it ends up being something that is NOT your fault? Nice CAS card, Brenda, lots of white space!! So glad the temps are warmer for you, you see the sun and NO snow!! Spring is around the corner! We had 62 and sun yesterday, today is cloudy and lot of rain expected tonight! Good luck at the BB game!

Glad to hear maybe your pc problem has gotten resolved successfully & IE does that to me sometimes too. I think your card is bright & pretty and would cheer whomever receives it. Love red & polka dots & with that nice sentiment...oh yes. Glad you are losing the snow, and hope no more comes your way. Enjoy your ballgame, and yes, we can live w/out computers, but we miss them when they don't work right!!! TFS & Hugs

First of all, love your card, Brenda!! I hope you enjoy the class and get more comfortable making naked cards! Wait. That didn't sound right!

I'm SO pleased that you got your computer fixed! You might want to use Chrome instead of IE. I finally had to switch over and other than the line spacing//font (which I got used to), I have had none of the problems I was plagued with over at IE. Anyway, glad to have you back!!

Have a great week. It sounds like spring is finally arriving for you, so I know you will enjoy that!! Hugs, Darnell

Hi Brenda! I LOVE this sweet card--that globe with the little heart on it is, indeed, perfect for a friend card!!

I got your comment about getting your first DeNami stamps--that's so exciting!!!! You mentioned that you picked out three to start with. Now I'm dying to know which ones!!! DeNami has so many awesome stamps to pick from. Can't wait to see some creations made with your new stamps.

Have fun with your CAS online card class--it's always fun learning new things!!

I am so glad that you have your PC back and yes we can live without them but it so fun to have them. lol I love, love your card! I love CAS cards the best, they are just so pretty to me. I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I just love them and I love this one you made. That world globe is so cool and I love the sentiment. Perfect friend card. I use Chrome now, IE was giving me a fit all the time, so my youngest told me to use Chrome. He got me set up and I love Chrome over IE now. Hugs
